There should be a Godwin's Law for people who bring up Godwin's Law. I didnt call anyone a Nazi. I merely pointed out the historical fact that angry mobs have been wrong many, many, many times before, and if your only argument is "MOST PEOPLE THINK MACHIDA WON SO THEREFORE MACHIDA MUST HAVE WON!" then that isn't much of an argument at all.

Wrong. I wasn't comparing anything, i was saying the argument that the majority is always right is factually wrong, and to prove that I used many examples that included Germans supporting Hitler.

Since Cammo finds it so funny I'll say it again, the first round was close and could have been judged either way but Machida won more of the exchanges and scored points more effectively, the second and third round went to Machida, and the 4th and 5th round went to Rua.

You know how you realize you've won a debate? When nobody can refute or disprove your argument.

I don't strongly disagree with the people saying Shogun won, but what I don't understand is how anyone can say that lyoto wasn't even close to winning this match. At least not anyone who understands that UFC fights are judged by rounds.
