Best defense of all time?

Do we really have a shot at having one of the best defensive teams of all time?

Well, we had one of the best defensive teams in the league the last two seasons.

We still have Thibodeau. (I can't believe Thibodeau hasn't gotten a head coaching position)

We added Sheed, Marquis, and Williams to the mix. Adding Sheed alone is reason to think we'll be better on defense. But Williams and Marquis have impressed me as well. Williams can rebound and Marquis steal on Lebron at the top of the key was the highlight of the Cavs game for me.

I think we're about to see a whole new level this year. Is it going to be good enough to be the best ever? I don't know, but I love the fact that we're even talking about it. I credit Doc for putting it out there as our goal because if we're close to that good on defense, this team wins another ring.

Besides, I love watching great defense. Nothing better than watching a stop and an easy transition basket on the other end. That's Celtics basketball!

Well not by points allowed.. Rondo likes to push and the C's do run. This will inflate the overall scoring numbers of both teams. I would rather have a championship then have a team recognized as the best defense though..so Iike the C's style.

I think Thibodeau's stock dropped after last year's playoffs. Our defense wasn't very good at all after we lost KG, making things look like the great defense can be credited to KG much more than to Thibodeau.
