IZOD Center Question

Post#1 » by bdawg » Sat Oct 31, 2009 6:15 pm

sorry for making it a thread, but i think it will help people from out of town

I will be in town going to a game at IZOD center, and this lead to 2 questions

1. how's the traffic going to the IZOD if I come from Newark from I95N on a SATURDAY Night for the game?
2. Are there anything, resturant and bars to do around the Center? I drove pass the Giant stadium before and Saw nothing but a big stadium???

Thank for all your help!

i can answer the 2nd question
that i know there is no bar next to the stadium and i went to the game yesterday and all there is is water and 3 stadiums
if theres one thing i hate about where the izod is....the location u go to other football basketball baseball or hockey stadium there in the city but in this case the izod is in the middle of nowhere

1.) Shouldn't be bad at all.

2.) Not until Xanadu opens. Izod Center's location pretty much sucks until then.

Pushed back (again) until November 2010, when we could possibly be in Newark.

I parked at Giant's stadium Friday night and made the trek through a tunnel to get to the game.
Or you can spend an extra I think it's $50 to park in front of the stadium.

Tick Tock Diner on 46 West (Clifton) is a good spot to eat after the game a lot Net fans go there and the food's good. Sweet Potato fries and Red Velvet Cake on the menu 10 minutes from the stadium.
