Last time that we played the Spurs...that I remember...Kevin Martin hit this game winner over Tim Duncan at the buzzer to give us the playoff win. Everything that has happened since then I choose to forget.

Anyway, game is at 5:30.

Kings:
PG: Evans
SG: Martin
SF: Mason
PF: Thompson
C: May

Last game: 92-97 Loss at New Orleans

Spurs:
PG: Parker
SG: Finley
SF: Jefferson
PF: Duncan
C: Bonner

Last game: 85-92 Loss at Chicago

I have to laugh every time I look at the Spurs lineup and see Bonner listed at center and Duncan just clinging to that PF spot with all his might, no matter how ridiculous it looks.

Am I the only crazy person who thinks we can win tonight? If we play like we did last night and Kev plays like himself, we have a shot IMO.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

I'm interested in seeing how Evans plays against Parker. Evans did a good job against Paul and Parker is as crafty a point there is. Should be fun and hopefully game two in Evans being a defensive nightmare. Brockman vs Blair will be fun as well.

The game competes with OSU-UCLA game...Kings will have to get recorded and watched later.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Evans length should hopefully slow down Parker's speed, and Parker is going to be abused on the offensive end no matter who he guards. Anyway, I predict that they'll either blow us out or we'll stay close. We're on the tail-end of a back-to-back, so...eh.

I wish they'd just let the cat out of the bag in Spurs land. Duncans a closet center, everyone knows it.

I mean I understand the reasoning. If Duncan is a PF, he's got a great argument for being the greatest PF of all time. If he's a center, he's probably not in the top 5. It just ends up looking so ridiculous.

And if Thompson has a better shooting night, I think we have a good shot winning tonight. But it's the Spurs. They are expected to win teams like us. I think we are going to be sluggish today, it seems like we expanded so much energy last night, I'm not sure how are we going to look like ultimately. A win would be nice for the Kings though. Image

Ehh...we're young and it's still early in the season. I'm not too worried about it.

A bit of OT: In that picture above, you see Martin and Duncan. Martin was absolutely skinny back then. One of my pet peeve is that they are using the old "185" pound number for Martin still today. In that pic, Martin is without a doubt was 185 pounds. But right now, Martin is around 200+. Like Ray Allen, Hamilton range.

Yep, tonight schedule is just too good, Phillies vs Yankees, Maple Leafs Vs Canadiens(big deal because it's a rivalry game), Kings vs Spurs

Im gonna watch Phillies vs Yankees (obviously), because its the most important game.....

Well, so far we haven't been able to guard them at all, but we're looking pretty good offensively.

Maybe it's just matchups, but Brock gets the nod before Spencer--wow.

Actually it probably is just matchups. Jason now has two fouls, so I'm betting Spencer will be going in for him. Probably a good call, since we'll otherwise have a midget lineup against Duncan.

The Spurs Announcers used to be the worst announcers in history, but they're not bad tonight...
