I agree with you about Harris making a huge difference and this is why I find myself scratching my head when people like Trader Joe say things like Devin doesn't make his teammates better and he doesn't make the game easier for them, sure he does.
Regardless though, everytime with those friggin' motion sets, where it takes till like 14 on the shot clock to even begin running a play and then it is some (Please Use More Appropriate Word) iso nonsense.
Just post Lopez! And do it early and if needed, repost. It isn't that hard a concept!
They should be running low post, high post, mid post, pick and rolls, pick and pops, run cutters off him, space the floor with open shooters and screens, just take advantage of what you have.
This is firmly on Frank and his inability to utilize a big man with post game. I honestly believe he doesn't understand how to use a big man in an offense, he has idea. Just sad...

There was way too much guard play and not enough involvement of the bigs in this game.

Why is it that the guards and Frank refuse to post Lopex early in the clock?
He's working his ass off to get position and seal his man and then they just ignore him.
The offense should be running through him like literally 60% of the plays or more, especially with Harris out.
It's just amazing that a coach can be this ignorant.

when Yi or Lpz struggl a lot to get a position and with hands uuuup, guards ingore him, that is frustrating for Yi and Lpz 's fans.
Yi made 2 of 10, all far from the low post, very ugly game for him.

when Lpz run the ball, Nets played very well in the first game with wolves.

CDR, Twill, Lee are good guys with great potential, but they, together with Haris, make too much shoots, leaving Lpz and Yi, running from side to side。

Yi is the most quick 7 footer, but it's difficult for Lpz to run a lot.

What's Frank thinking?

Lopez should get the ball in the post every possession. When he isnt in the game, Yi should get the ball in the post every possession. This offense isnt call Wildcat it is called CrazyCat or AlleyCat.

All this pick and roll is stupid. Every possession the guard calls for a pick and roll. This team is no longer guard oriented. Yeah we are missing a PF, but it is for defensive purposes. We have two very good PF/C offensive players. POST THOSE MOTHERS UP!!!!!!!

One observation from a Wiz fan: Yi is lazy defensively. Either that, or his rotations are super slow. He left his man (Oberto/Blatche) open on almost every trip down the court. I could see leaving Oberto open -- but there's a reason Blatche had a career night.
