Starting Tuesday, the Suns will play five road games in seven days, including stops in Boston and Orlando. While the early road schedule has been bemoaned, the Suns ought to feel fortunate that the NBA handed them the 3-0 opportunity of opening with the Clippers, Warriors and Timberwolves.

"I don't think we're out of the water yet," Suns coach Alvin Gentry said. "There's still going to be a process where we still have to keep figuring out our strongsuits and try to correct what we do with what we struggle at. It's nice that we got two wins while we're trying to figure that out. We've still got some games left before we know where this team is and what we've got and the areas where we're going to have to improve the most." - Paul Coro

First!

Aren't the TWolves 1-1?

whatever, i still predict a suns win tonight, 107-99, suns are overjoyed at finally keeping a team under 100, dragic plays well, something like: 9-3-5 pts-ast-reb, with a steal.

key suns players:
Nash: 15-12-3
STAT: 21-3-7
Hill: 14-3-3
JRich: 10-2-5 ... jrich kinda sucks comin out of the gate according to me
Frye: 18-1-9 ... his shooting touch is on again
-------
Barbs: 13-4-1
Duds: 2-2-5
Clark: 6-1-7
Dragon: 9-3\4-5

(All pts/ast/ reb)

107 pts, 32 ast, 41 reb sounds reasonable, right? lol, i am NOT doing timberwolves box.

Al Jefferson is going to get 20-20 today.

Make that 32/24 or something crazy like that, unless Amar'e and Frye REALLY hit the boards hard. I can't even think to imagine the kind of nights Howard, KG, Sheed, Shaq are going to have against us.

Also, I predict a loss, considering last few seasons, Minny has given us a lot of trouble. 108-103 for Minny :(

the key is again rebounding. if someone can hold off al jefferson from our board we have a good chance to win.

first game for j-rich. he has to show us something. let´s see if this affects the guard rotation, and if dragic will see many minutes.

collins anyone??

Props to the great one

Jeff had 32/20 against us...and that's a big reason we traded Marion for Shaq. Let's hope he doesn't beast us again.

I hope you guys are right, but you may get a break this time. Jefferson is still coming off offseason surgery, and has 9/4 and 12/8 in his two games so far.

The matchup to watch tonight will be Nash vs. Flynn.

i dont think he will affect the dragons minutes, more barbosa's and duleys. bu if he does affect dragic's minutes, and dragic doesnt look as good, TRADE JRICH!!!! not for the sake of rebounding, but for goran dragic.

if we had had a player like dragic in 07-08 or 06-07, we would have won the championship. its not because dragic is god or anything, but now there is not as much sucktitude after Nash comes out, and for the first time in a while, the second team actually has a decent chance to play as good if not better than the first team.

same goes for Earl Clark and Jared Dudley though- if we had had them three, (dragic, clark, and dudley) and Gentry as our coach, back then, then we wouldve been unstoppable.

i think barbosa will get some minutes on the pg spot. he and j-rich on court, that would affect the minutes of dragic.

i also think that is luxury to have j-rich AND barbosa on the same team. i would start barbosa and trade j-ich for camby...

I dunno; I'd love to have Flynn, Jefferson and Gomes on this team. I think they're ballers.

isnt Nash the first player out in this scenario? i think JRich is the first out, then Frye, hill and THEN Nash. Jrich may affect the minutes of dragic, but only by maybe one or two.

Remember this "scrub" line up beat NJ.

Brewer is perhaps our 2nd or 3rd best player right now. His shot is still off but he blocks, steals, boards, dimes, and defends incredibly well.

Jefferson is still recovering from the knee injury. His hook shot is flat right now so I doubt he gets 30/20 on Amare. Flynn is scary good and will be the key to our game.

Gomes is very good as a SF, but struggles as the PF. Our line-up is now Al/Stewie/Gomes/Brewer/Flynn. Stewie shoots and that is about it, but runs the P/R very well with Flynn.

I am not too worried about jefferson both him and amare are still recovering so they will negate eachother. Idk about flynn though that will be interesting and I really like gomes. But I think the suns got this too much firepower.

Chris Bosh is turning into a rebounding beast this season. Sadly, Bosh>>>>>>Amare officially.

its been three games, bosh always starts off strong and then gives up once his team starts losing. Only time will tell.

I'm not flipping out over Al Jeff for this one, Flynn's the guy who's gonna have a career game (and eventually win ROY if he stays healthy IMO).

Hopefully Amare starts getting in back rhythm against their banged up frontcourt.
Should be a needed win, we're unbeaten but there's a thougher schedule coming up soon.

i'm looking forwrd to seeing how Flynn does versus Dragic, kindof like i looked forward to dragic/curry. Nash will almost always get burned, so its nice to see dragic come in and, well, not get burned. the dragon has done a good job on defense so far, can he continue versus better competition vs. flynn/ sessions? i hope he gets more minutes... hes been doing so well, why doesnt gentry play him? (other than the fact that our starting PG is steve nash, of cours)
