What are most important of "big questions" facing wolves?

^^That doesn't sound very fun. My brother was in the Rangers down in Panama and his parachute didn't open up properly during a jump. He bounced a few times on the ground, then got a medical discharge. Kind of messed up his back.

Dewey. In this offense Love/Flynn will handle the ball and set other guys up. Jefferson will embrace being a scorer and flashing to the front of the hoop or posting up. When love returns there will be no need for an offense to run thru Jefferson. He can just score, score, score. The dimes will be Love/Flynn. I think Al will be great in this offense and that is why I would not move him unless it is for the same level of player but at the wing spot. Love will allow Jefferson's eff to soar.

Im sorry to interupt, but I have a few words, one thing is, Who is your new Triangle offense going to revolve around. I have a fealing that Al Jefferson ( though a very very talented player ) is not who you want down there. a guy like Kevin love however, very well could be. I think you have to consider this fact. Al just doesnt seem like the guy you want in this offense, so I would def say that you should consider trading him or changing up his role, because he isnt a very good passer out of the post.

The triangle offense does not have a player that it "revoles" around. Rather it has rules and it has roles. Love is the facilitator in the high (pinch) post. Al can be the finisher that flashes to the rim. We need 2 guards that can handle and a shooter. Hopefully Brewer can be a spot up shooter, flynn can handle and we need one more guard.

Remember, this is the offense that Bynum lives in. All he does is grab the ball in front of the hoop and score. Al can do that easily. Plus, you do not run the triangle everytime. Having a player you can dump the ball into the post is invaluable.

Al is just a terrible passer. I think it's more his willingness than a skill defect, but it's already bugging me 3 games in.

I think he lacks court vision. Regardless, it wont be his role with love.

Needless to say these are all questions that will take quite a bit of time to begin to address with some degree of understanding.

I'm still anxious to find out how well Al and Love can co-exist come December. When I see Al struggle to pass out of double-teams, it makes me think Love will bea big asset. Al just does not have good court vision when it comes to checking off his teammates in a half-court offense - I'm not convinced that will ever change, but still imagine the threat he'd be if he added 5 assists/game...

its not poor vision, so much as a mind set for Al. Al believes he can score through double teams. And when he's healthy he's right he can score through double teams.

Al wants his touches, he doesn't want to be bait to open up someone else.

but when the ball stops in his hands it completely changes the triangle.


Either Al will have to change his attitude or Al will be traded if we stick with a motion offense.. that requires quick movement of the ball.

This franchise has many important questions to answer this season - because next summer, there will be draft picks, trades and free agent signings based on this years evaluation.

1) Can Love and Jefferson play together? [I'm guessing yes, we'lll have to see.]
a) can they learn to defend the middle together?

2) Can Brewer's shooting improve enough to make him
a) an NBA starter,
b) an NBA rotation player.
[We'll have to see about Brewer's shooting for an extended period. He is a dynamic defender.]

3) Is Flynn or Sessions good enough at PG to fill that role? [My guess is one of them will, but we'll see]

4) Can Sessions play SG?, can he play together with Flynn on the floor.
[Not if he doesn't get playing time there.]
Do we keep Sessions at his salary if he is only a back up PG? [salary cap is coming down]
If we are only using him as back up PG, he is probably more valuable as a trading chip.

5) Can Gomes or someone on our roster be a starting SF on a championship level team?
[No one has come close to showing this yet.]
Is Gomes worth keeping at his salary if he isn't a starter? (salary cap is coming down)

6) Ellington is potential starter at SG? is he a good back up at SG?

7) Is Hollins the answer as backup to Jefferson and Love, is he a keeper?

The answers to these questions [and others], will help us to decide what to do with ou4 assets...
