Smith really set the tone for the Hawks tonight from the stupidity standpoint. He kept throwing up jumpers and had 5 turnovers. He tried to lead the break and i kept saying passpasspassthedamball and sure enough he turns it over and they get a fast break layup.

Not surprising. Lakers length frustrates Josh and Al more often than not. Glad we gave good effort in the 4th after falling apart in the 3rd. I actually agree with Mike Woodson's post game comments of we didn't play well in the 1st half either. Giving up 64 points in a half is not going to win many games. The defense has to get better. Only one game, we'll see how we do in Portland.

Re: Sunday: Atlanta Hawks @ LA Lakers
it was actually a okay game for the Hawks. it was in single digits for most of the game. Hawks did have a bad half quarter in the 3rd, but besides that, i'm not really disappointed.
a few guys underperformed, but the team as a whole hung in their with an elite team that are the defending champs on their home court.
the last two years the Hawks and Lakers split the series, each team defended their home court. this year might extend that trent into a 3rd year.
can't wait to see the Lakers in Atlanta, should be a good game, the Lakers are so far winless in Philips the last two years.

I'm afraid that's just who Crawford is. If he could shoot better, with his handles and his talent at effortlessly getting to the basket, he'd score 30 a game. The guy's just not a good shooter.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.
