I know some would disagree with me here and im not even trying to be pessimistic and all but when i looked at our schedule again, i got nervous because 3-30 flashed before my eyes. And im still being nice and bias. There's a chance that we could go 1-32 or 2-31 by new years.
This November, the only possible team that we can beat is the Kings. On December's games, MAYBE the Pacers or we can steal one game away from the Knickerbockers, if not, thats 1-32 before the new year starts.
Im not saying that the team has no talent to beat anyone but it all starts with the coach. Lawrence Frank is destroying the team and he's getting confused himself. We need a different coach, a different voice and maybe we can start winning some winnable games and even steal some games from the contenders. Our players are not that bad, they just need someone who knows how to utilize them the right way.
Did you guys see the Bucks game last night against the Pistons? That is what we need to do. The Bucks defense was terrific, they closed out on the Pistons shooters all night and help defense was great. And it's not like the Bucks have better players than we do esp. defensively. Skiles is a tough coach and a tough coach is what we need. It doesn't have to be a Skiles-like style but someone better. BTW, Brandon Jennings is gonna be a star and im gonna stop dreaming about a Terrence Williams ROY season because Jennings is this years ROY. Too bad he is only a spot away from us drafting him if not, i think Thorn would've drafted him. I dont know whats wrong with TWill because he seemed like he's hesitating a lot and i wonder if Frank has something to do with it.
Can someone name next year's top 10 NBA draft? I know it's still early but i just wanna get an idea on who we might get. Depending on their college careers, who is on the top right now? I know about Wall, Favors and Monroe... who else? It's too early for me to know anything about young ballplayers right now but i know some of you are already in it and watching their progress.
The kids costumes were scary during the trick or treating last night but what's scarier is i only looked at the first two months of this year's games, i didn't check the Jan, Feb, March and April's games yet!!

I'm sorry, but the Nets are not winning anything with Lawrence Frank as coach. He's beyond awful. From his offensive sets to his defensive game plans, he doesn't have a clue.

Lawerence Frank is the hardest working coach in the NBA... stop beating up on him. He brings great leadership to this team. I am sick and tired of beating up on the coach when the team starts losing. The Nets play with no energy. Period. They play home games at the Izod Center in which no body shows up or cheers. They feed off no energy. You guys talk about who Lawerence should have played at the end of the Twolves games. That is his decison, he is an NBA basketball coach, you and I do not know his gameplan or what happens in the locker room. All I can see is Frank working his A$$ off every game and the players not responding. We dont you talk about how Devin is going to sit 7-10 days because of his groin. He is taking us out of it before we were even in it. Countless Basketball players would play through that injury. If you want to say...oh man you dont know how it is, you are not Devin Harris...well check this quote...devin harris is sitting "7-10 days" because he wants get more time to heal. He said that even if an a couple of days if it felt better he still wouldnt play. Let me repeat that he said that if he felt better in a couple of days he still wouldnt play. Do not get me wrong I am not trying to Bash Devin...I am just trying to make you guys see other ways than bash Frank. How about starting with the players?

So what he's one of the hardest woring coaches in the league? He still sucks.
A lot of the worst players in the league are also the hardest working, but it doesn't make them good, it just means they have to work that much harder just to stay in the league.
And Devin Harris is obviously sitting out a few extra days so he doesn't come back and reinjure the hammy again, like he just did.
Your argument fails, you are in denial.

Re: In turmoil...
I disagree with us only winning 3 out of the next 30 games. there are plenty of winnable games coming up.
We got 2 vs Philly who we seem to play very well, sacramento, charlotte, indiana, Milwaukee and even the knicks(even though they owned us in preseason)..

Re: In turmoil...
So in my 2k10 Bobcats franchise, Larry Brown ended up retiring and I needed a new coach... Guess who I signed!!!
LAWRENCE FRANK IN DA BUILD"INNN!!!!!!!!!
I think his coaching grades were:
Offense: C
Defense: B
Teacher: B
Pretty solid.

Im hoping i am wrong because i really dont want to see our team in that standing before the new year. It's going to be really embarrassing and i dont think i can handle the pressure of having my 3 major sports teams on a losing ground, although i won't consider the NYGiants losers just yet because they still have a decent record but they just lost 3 games in a row and looking more like Opie is coaching them in those games. The Mets just had their worst season, imo, how can you root for anyone? Yankees and Phillies are both Mets rivals.
Im not sure if we can beat the Sixers, if they beat us home then bank it, we're gonna get chewed at theirs. Charlotte, i dont think we can beat, this is not the old Bobcats and they have more veteran presence now. Milwaukee, at first glance and before the season started, i'd say they have nothing against us but after that game against the Pistons, this team is responding to Skiles and they are playing better defense. While the Pacers are always a tough team when we play them, i say we have 40% chance of beating them. Sacramento is the only real possibility and thats bad news because we wont get to play with them a lot.
I know there will be some changes with the other teams due to injuries so my prediction wont be as accurate, it was just a silly guess.

Our team isn't just going to roll over, they got a wake up call against the Wizards, now they have a fire under their as$. If we lose against the bobcats, you best believe there will be nail marks and teeth on the court after the game is done.

Re: In turmoil...
Turmoil is Brook grabing 3 rebounds in 27min. He talked pllayoffs and allstar before the season and 3 rbs isn't gonna cut it. With that said I want Harris at 100% before he's back on the court with or without him we aren't doing anything. These are growing pains and they are gonna hurt. Can we at least hold off for 30 games before we really start the bashing. By then we'll at least have an idea about who to target.
As for Frank he's gone we know it he knows it everyone knows it. With that said this isn't his fault he's a good coach yeah he has his strengths and weaknesses but overall I have no beef with him except maybe his rotations at times.

Re: In turmoil...
Lopez should be getting the ball in the post. I dont like the plan of the guards constantly asking for a Pick. The offense should be geared towards Lopez then to the guards. I dont mind it once and awhile but when Lopez is battling for possession down low dont call him for a pick. The other thing is why is it when Lopez and Yi are trying to post up why are the guards moving the ball to the other side. I know that is suppose to be the new offense but COME ON FRANK!!! Give the PF and C the ball and have the guards move without the ball. Back doors! drive down the lane! Posts and Re-Posts!
THE BALL SHOULD GO THROUGH LOPEZ' HANDS!!!! OUR BEST PLAYER IS OUR C. HARRIS SHOULD HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE SECOND OPTION!!!!!!!!!
