True.

He can now be a legit example for the younger players. That stood out to me. Something I hadn't seen so clearly stated so I gave CCJ some props for pointing it out first.

That's what I'm getting at.

I'm saying I was pointing out that the 'Fates' indicated that Blatche would actually prove to be a leader and would suddenly put it all together, and anyone sufficiently soft-headed and credulous to believe in the astrology of the situation would have 'known' that he would eventually prove a good example for anyone on the team. So alls you needed to to was be suggestible enough to hold a secret core of that belief -- even when he was out getting shot and trying to rent the nookie. You know: listen to your man docstradamus.

Blatche has often said the right thing, been perceptive about the situation even when he was unable or unwillling to put in the effort to alter the situation. Granted the KFB was often pretty cogent and articulate, but his song was generally 'me, me, me'. Dray was often more team-aware. "astrology' goofing or no, I'm not startled at all that he's started to grow up, even if he's not already there yet.

But right, so, when McGee was drafted I said I thought it could help Blatche suddenly mature instead of remaining comfortable in a team-knucklehead mode that quite frankly he wasn't any good at. To be a real pro knucklehead you have to be able to do it and get away with it, not keep getting caught by the cops and lose millions of dollars in contract cash. Just saying, you know, I was there first. Also I have huge thighs and I'm the greatest dentist in all Chicago.
