NBA League Pass and other sources

Post#1 » by BIG EDDIE » Mon Nov 2, 2009 3:55 pm

Hi, I read in a game thread that some of you guys were discussing about NBA League Pass and games they are blacking out.
kmgarnett21 was asking if anyone knows other ways of watching online live games.
Actually I know a pretty good source, probably many of you also know it, but for some people it will be helpful.
There is this website: http://www.myp2p.eu/
Go on the 'Live Sports' tab on the top, there you can chose from the actual sport events, go on Basketball and select the little TV icon on the left side of the game you want to watch. There you will be able to select from different online channels which are showing the game live. Some of them work, some of them dont, but there is always one that works properly.
You will most likely have to download different kinds of software, but its always shown next to the game link what you require. You can then go to the Sowftware Tab and download the right stuff.
I recomment VEETLE, its by far the best quality, almost like watching on TV. It requires really just a quick download, nothing special.

Hope this helps. Just ask if something is unclear.

This is going to get locked quickly.

Anyhow, I recommend NBA League Pass Broadband. Works very well.

Thanks for the help, but I've tried that website before. It doesn't work very well for me. It takes forever to buffer and half the time it freezes up. I bought NBA League Pass Broadband Choice for 89 bucks, which lets you choose 7 teams to watch all season. I was just asking for yesterday b/c games on NBA TV are blacked out, and I dn't have that channel on my tv. I do have ESPN, ABC and TNT, so the only games I'll miss this season are on NBA TV.

Thanks for helpin tho man.

I see. Yeah, sometimes its stressy to get a good stream, but for me its the best so far.
I am also thinking about buying League Pass, but I have some questions:
I live in Europe, so I dont have any of TNT, ESPN, etc. channels. Now you say I can choose 7 teams only, and I dont even get to see like 20 out of a teams 82 games? Or how is that now? I thought if I pay for it I can see all the games...
Can someone please advise?
Thanx

Yep veetle player is the nicest but not always broadcasting the celts. I bounce from justin.tv to athde.net and between them they are posting links if those channels are not working, I've watched all 4 games so far online I have few other sites but from fear of being shut down I won't post but you can ask me...

The online links are certainly not working very well these days. A lot of the free streams get shut down mid game, I suppose as the copywrite holders search them out. In previous years I could almost always find a stream, I watched the Celtics win the title from an online stream on a business trip to India even, but now I spend a lot of time flipping around as streams get killed. Given that according to nba.com NBA Leaguepass isn't available in Canada, it's likely going to be a frustrating season to try and pick up games.

Yeah..Justin.tv and athde seem to work better - but not really well. I haven't tried veetle yet. But I think the broadband select cost is worth it..

Big Eddie,

I am pretty sure for $90 that you pick 7 teams, but for $134 you get every NBA team. Where I live (Boston) I get all nationally televised games blacked out and all Celtics games blacked out. I am not sure what happens if you're in Europe. I think you should call them and ask what happens if you're Euro and you don't get ESPN/TNT. If the NBA wants to become global they are going to have to accommodate viewers in others countries.

they black out according to your ip address and physical location, so probably not gonna have a huge blackout problem in europe

Thank you guys, I think I will give it a try and buy League Pass. I hope I will get to watch all my favourite games in good quality, without interruption. We'll see.
