Rockets have always been able to play well w/out their stars. Should be a fun game.

On a side note, what is everyone thinking about Chris Paul this year? (didn't want to start a new thread)
A couple of years ago, 140 of his assists were on Ty Chandler alley oops. That's not going to be there anymore.

I think Deron will surpass Paul in assists this year, and finish first in front of Nash/Rondo/CP3.

I feel bad for Paul. The Hornets have more problems than we do and he seems a bit frustrated.

Granted it's only been a few games, but Paul seems to have plateaued somewhat. I say this because his numbers are there, but not really improved rather than being low (indicative of it just being a poor start).

As for this game, I love the sort of mini-rivalry thats built with the Rox. Home game, crowd will be full of energy, should be fun

Everyone talks about how bad the Hornets supporting cast is and I don't know why. Okafor/West is a very good front court, and he has some solid supporting players. The Hornets have no excuse not to make the playoffs this year.

Rockets are a good defensive team, they have a pg that can penetrate at will and good 3 point shooters. I hope I'm wrong, but I believe this will be a tough game.

i'll be at this game tonight and I for one believe we can pull this one out. I loved Millsap's performance last game and think he can only continue what he is doing. D-will is going to have another double double tonight. With Yao out I'm hoping that our interior D will be a little bit better than the last two games. On the offensive side we should be able to penetrate the inside and dominate their inside.

Well, Rajon Rondo must be a Jazz fan because he came out and said that Chris Paul gets the stats he does because the ball is in his hands the entire game.

good match up for the Jazz as even Boozer can guard Chuck Hayes.

We should win this game fairly easily BUT rockets always seem to give us troubles, I think we pull this one out by 5 or 6

I'm testing a system that should be able to let me have a hard link of a replay of this game immediately following it. If all goes well I should be able to make the stream available to anybody interested.

This is in addition to my normal live stream of whatever is on my TV, which should be showing the entire game live. Post your emails to have the link sent to you

I expect Sloan to throw Fes out there to see what he can do against small but tricky players.
