Is it just me or does anyone else worry about Kaman playing 41 MPG through the first 4 games, and EJ playing 38 MPG?
I don't mean that they don't deserve to be on the court that long, but that I hope their minutes normalize to about 35-36 MPG. I know that the games have been fairly close, so that is partly why.
The Clippers need to get a win down though. There have been a few tough games early on. Even at full strength, beating the Lakers, Jazz, Mavericks or Suns would be a tough task, so the 0-4 start is not really disheartening outside of the fact that at least two of the games were winnable.
Baron Davis really needs to start hitting shots though. IMO he should just scrap shooting three's unless it is a wide open catch and shoot three for a while and only attack the basket. I remember I was just recently looking at the 2-pt jumpshot percentages on 82 games, and last season he shot 33% on them, about the same as Josh Smith.
I've been quite impressed with Telfair's play as the backup PG, I think he's doing a good job for his minutes and doing the things he needs to do on the court.
