For some of it he was Paul's man but the problem was Chris Paul was turning Rondo and Eddie inside out and Pierce was helping in the paint. Without the defense collapsing on CP3 you could just give Peja's points to him.
Pierce was at fault for a lot of Peja's success because he kept running under the picks instead of fighting through them and making Peja dribble the ball.
