Awesome win guys, I'm happy that Ariza's been such a good fit and it's truly amazing to watch what HOU has accomplished so far as a team. All starting from the playoffs last year to the start of the season. Good luck!

Thoroughly enjoyable game of which I fell asleep the last 5 minutes.

Team is looking niiiiiiice so far :)

What are the odds that guys like Barkley and Jalen Rose are trashing us so hard because they've been told to do so by their networks? Marketing the Rockets at ALL would be completely against the NBA's system of marketing 1-3 dynamic offensive stars surrounded by role players. I find it odd that all this talk of "creating shots" didn't come up nationally until the Rockets lost their stars for this season, AND that we're never mentioned in that context.

p.s. Artest is a beast.

Can you blame him after preseason?

Great, great game.
I'm actually liking our chances to make the PO, which I wasn't before the season started.

Agreed. I had my eye on Chase Budinger coming out of arizona as a guy who would be a good nba player. In the draft when yall bought that pick to go and get him in the 2nd round I thought it was a good move, but its turning out to be a great move. I like yalls management groups ability to evaluate talent. Getting a 2nd round rookie that can contribute so quickly deserves credit. This is coming from a mavs fan. :D We got yall next tuesday..

Lakers are playing OT against the Thunders. The lakers starters played heavy minutes. With rockets rested a full day, it time to take the advantage and run the lakers out of the gym tomorrow.

ya i saw the end of that game, they gonna be tired as hell playing fastbreak ball w/ houston, they gotta play the game fast every chance they get. then when they use walton/powell/farmar, try some half court offense, and see if it works, go back to fastbreaking when starters are back in. they'll need a breathing mask by the 2nd quarter

our jazz rivals are struggling, back to back double digit losses, suns might be taking their place in playoffs instead of houston :)
