Never bench players when they're playing against the Knicks. Never. :D

Wow Gallinari has been doing well and his stats today are insane. Do you guys think I should pick him up and drop Grant Hill?

You're joking right? If Gallo is on your waiver wire now, get him. I picked him with the 6th pick in round 13. :D

Hell yea man, Gallo pretty much single handedly won me 3's this week. I got him in with the 6th pick in round 12 in my 12 team HTH league.

Overall I'm off to a pretty good start, but the lack of production from my starting C Gasol is worrying. His hamstring injury is lingering and I have no really good options off the bench.

That said, Gallo only got he start because of injuries to Gasol and Okur so maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

More bad news for Gasol owners, as he's not expected to play on this road trip now. Sucks.

Now I have a choice of starting Frye or Speights, not sure how I should go with, any thoughts? I won my first week 6-3, so off to a good start.

I am pretty much conceding assists so if anyone has a PG sleeper I'm all ears.

I did too, in a couple... but D'OH on me for dropping Hawes in a couple as well. I finally found out why he wasn't starting. The Kings were apparently steamed at him for not playing in the Summer League (it's voluntary). So they start Sean May at center now. After a few duds to begin the season, I figured Hawes was in the doghouse. But he's put up back-to-back good games. Woe is me. He's still not starting though...

Wow, tough loss. Even though he wasn't starting, Hawes is getting 30+ mins.

Better fantasy pickup...Blatche or Frye?

Post#193 » by truth serum » Tue Nov 3, 2009 7:04 pm

They're both available right now and Shaq has easily been my worst pick so far. I wanna drop his ass for another big and both of these guys have been playing well. 2 issues I see though...

Neither of them are putting up too many numbers in the categories I need from a center. I picked Shaq for rebounds and blocks and I'm not sure Frye or Andray are going to cut it there. They've been scorers more than anything. Especially Frye, but I could be wrong. The other thing is, Blatche has been a tad more impressive at this point, but Antawn Jamison will be back this month and I'm worried that will relegate him to the bench and make him useless while someone else picks up Channing in the meantime. What should I do?

Frye...Blatche wont get as much time when Jamison comes back and wont produce as much even though i think he should get the time at C. Frye also gives you 3's now

Frye, easily. Blatche will get much less PT when Jamison returns and Frye should keep improving in an offense suited to his ability

Frye- he'll hit over 100 3s and has no comp for PT.

They both have a starter who plays in front of them coming back form injury, but Jamison is much better. I also think that Frye will continue to start when Lopez comes back if he continues to shoot this well.

So Frye
