Man that adorable little bunny chokes me up every time. Sad bunny, why are you so sad? Perhaps he's just camera shy.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Do you have any other argument against him outside of "he doesn't pass to wide open players"? You've only said it about 20 times, we get that it's your argument. Is that all you have to show for him having low basketball IQ? While I'll admit he hasn't always passed it to the wide open player here is my response.
He's currently 6th in the league avg 8.5 assist a game. He may not be the smartest PG in the NBA, but so far his decision making hasn't been too shabby. Oh wait I can't use stats for my argument. Only logical things like incoherent ramblings and repeating the same thing over and over again. He's good enough for Morey to hold onto, and I doubt there's a person out there better at measuring somebody's effectiveness on the court outside of conventional stats.
Tell me, what great return are you going to get for Brooks? We're talking about a guy whose going to make what? Two million this year? Who are you going to get in return for two million? And you're not going to entice anybody with throwing in Cook as salary filler. What great young prospect are you going to steal away? Just give me one reasonable one.

You are a Chinese and a YOF.
Your NBA knowledge is merely from the Chinese broadcasting on Rockets.
You hated Rockets trading away Rafer who defers everything to his teammates.
You would take Rafer over Brooks.
You would enjoy Rafer's first round exits more than Brooks doing well in second round.
You might have started the thread " Is Aaron Brooks good or bad? Does he actually contribute to winning?? " on cc.net.
"knowledge"? whaty 'knowledge do you use to defend Brooks?
Were you blind on the latest playoffs? didn't you notice Brooks IGNORING WIDE OPEN TEAMMATES over and over and most of the time making stupid decision that would be a shame even for a guy playing C? I don't go with the rest, because Iwant THAT SPECIFIC ISSE ADDRESSED....
How come are you so atacched to a so fragile, zero defense and zero Basketball IQ guy? when you can take advantage that now he's over valued and get a player with better team awareness and IQ in return?
Hey, are the Chinese TV still pouring the same **** on Brooks after tonight's game?
another question: Were you stupid or just a hater?
Hi, Chinese fan here, haven’t posted a lot but I’ve been lurking around for about 3 years now. Gonna start posting more now, and I’ll hijack this thread a bit since I don’t think this warrants a “new guy” thread.
Anyway, the Chinese broadcasting networks have never really”spewed hate” on Brooks. They were voicing reasonable criticism of him. After Rafer was traded Brooks wasn’t really very effective on the court with Yao for awhile, and every game you will see him ignoring Yao in the post for a drive or shot. And we all love Yao, he’s not only a great basketball player but also a great person, and it’s frustrating to see him lumber down the court on those already somewhat fragile legs and fight for a position in the post only to have your pg jack up a three. Basically the Chinese broadcasters were saying that Rick should have started Lowry to complement Yao and put Brooks with the second unit as a spark guy off the bench, which I’m sure has crossed a lot of minds of fans in Houston.
As Brooks developed and matured the “hate” died down pretty much, and everyone acknowledges that Brooks will be the spearhead of our offense as well as, well, “floor general”. The Chinese broadcasters are very seasoned and knowledgeable, and you can’t blame them for being a little homerish regarding Yao.
BTW seems some perceptions of the whole basketball/NBA scene in China is somewhat distorted. Guess not enough Chinese fans around huh?

Few years ago, I don't know how many press put the Pacers collapse solely on Tinsley and whoever players tagged with a "pg". Now all their point guards were gone or retired, Indiana is still medicore. Brooks is nowhere as selfish as Tinsley and give me a break the season just started and we are up 3-2. (not 0-5)
