Len Bias 30 for 30

Post#1 » by celtics543 » Wed Nov 4, 2009 1:55 am

Anyone else catch this tonight? I thought it was pretty excellently done and really helped me understand the whole tragedy. I'm only 21, so I obviously wasn't around when the tragedy happened, but I thought this told the story very well.

Anyone else have some comments?

It is still heart-wrenching to this day. Such a tragedy. And wow, the Celtics would've been sooooo good with him.

I was watching the C's. But I did set my DVR to record it Wednesday.

It had just some highlight stuff, not a whole lot of game footage. What I really liked though were all the people that were interviewed and talked about the impact of the death. The story was kind of secondary, as they treated it like we all knew what happened, but this is how it really affected everyone.

It is still very heart wrenching, I wasn't alive for the actual event, but even watching it now it still hurts. He looked like a BEAST and would've been amazing with Bird, Mchale, and Parish. Len Bias living might be the biggest "what if" in sports history.
