How are your teams doing so far?

Post#1 » by DFolks » Wed Nov 4, 2009 4:07 am

I have 3 teams. 2 of them with head-to-head with friends and a random points league I found. I am 1st in the points league and won both my head-to-head match ups in the 1st week. Funny thing, the team I feel I created the best has Blake Griffin, Deq Cook , and T-Mac injured so when they get back I will tear it up.

So, that is me so far. How about you guys?

I only have 1 team, the roster is currently:

Chalmers
Durant
Terry
Iguodala
Andersen (Birdman)
Smith (Josh)
Haywood
Fernandez
Bargnani
Augustin

First week didn't go as planned thanks to Durant's implosion on Sunday.

I'm considering restructuring my team so that I tank 3's and focus on:

FG%, FT%, BLKS, REB, STLS

That would entail me moving Terry and Bargnani though and it's always hard to get fair value in a trade... There are a number of quality centers who get rebounds + blocks on the waiver wire so that coupled with the uselessness of guys like Fernandez and Morrow (who I drafted and have since waived) has me leaning towards shaking things up.

Pretty good lineup.. We still have a long way to go.. My teams could end up like Jerome James after being given the MLE after an adequate playoff series for the Sonics.

I've got only got one league this year, for loot, and the verdicts still out. I got my ass tapped 6-3 last week, but I'm up 8-1 now and I don't think I'll let up. Still waiting for production out of my last few roster spots. Stuckey will be the **** death of me.

Terrible. All my players are doing half of what they did last year at best.

I remain wholly unimpressed by Matas and would be very upset not only if we trade up fo him, but if we even draft him at 11

Mixed results. Good in keepers, bad in one year leagues. Pretty disappointing so far. Still lots of time though.

1st in my league! With this line-up:

Mike Miller
Udonis Haslem
Shaq O'Neal
Chris Kaman
David Lee
Brandon Jennings
Rudy Gay
Andre Igoudala
Aaron Brooks
Rajon Rondo
Mo Williams
Courtney Lee
Danny Granger

I'm thinking of proposing a trade consisting of Rudy Gay for Luol Deng. Reason being is that Memphis is getting pretty crowded with selfish scorers and Luol Deng plays a lot of game on thursday's (TNT Factor) when only few players are playing that night. Do I have a good rationale?
