Tonight see 2 of the hardest working UNLV players

Lou Amundson vs. Joel Anthony.

I've been a UNLV fan for 30+ years ....and out of all the years following UNLV, two of my favorites hustle players have been Louis Amundson and Joel Anthony.....You guys know Lou well (and believe me, i was stoked to see him play for my favorite NBA team...and love how he's really taken advantage of his opportunity)....tonight though, you'll get to see both of them....they'll probably even have to go head-to-head for a little while.....check out Joel and see what you think. Funny how two of UNLV's better players in the past 15 years are both 6'9" guys that have little (to no) offense, but work hard and do the little things....and if you think Lou has limited offense, wait until you see Joel....difference is that Joel can shoot freethrows.

Also...something to note about Joel. He has one of the leagues longest wingspans....and even though he's only 6'9"....with his arms raised above his head, from feet to fingertips he's got over an inch in length on Greg Oden!!!!!

One other thing....last time I looked, Joel Anthony was 5th in the league in blocks per 48 minutes.....guess who was 6th? Yep....Louis Amundson!

Lou would be the leagues #1 blocker if he played more.
