Allen denies this part.........

Allen denied part of a Yahoo! Sports report that claimed he later went into the New Orleans locker room to apologize to Paul for Rondo’s actions. Though he went into the locker room to meet with Paul, Allen said he didn’t apologize.

“Chris was giving us an autographed jersey for the High Hopes Fund,” Allen said of a charity his family supports that is sponsored by the Joslin Diabetes Center. “Chris and I share the tie of being Brand Jordan athletes, so we’re in contact.

“I did ask him, ‘What was going on between the two of you on the floor?’ and he said, ‘It was just the two of us out there competing, that’s all.’ ”

That guy just writes anything he wants to and gets away with it.....any hate against the C's and it's taken as gospel.........

this whole thing is a dumb media (ie yahoo sports) creation.

so the guys had some words after the game. wouldnt be the first time that's happened, won't be the last. it's done. all this sensationalism trying to drum up a story is really obnoxious.

not saying it happened.....but would it surprise if Ray actually did apologize? It wouldn't surprise me....he's always come off as the classier person.....the politician who doesn't take sides and would rather just make peace and have a discussion rather than beef.......

except for the elbow he gave Varejao(i think it was varejao) in the nuts.....he totally deserved it....i hate that guy. Freaking sideshow bob from the simpsons.

Well, FWIW, Chris Paul denied trying to rush into the Celtics locker room on his twitter. He also denies ever having a yelling match with Tom Thibodeau. I guess Adrian was short on stories that day so he sensationalized the incident. I'd take Chris Paul's word over a guy who wasn't even at the Garden.

I know what you mean......but I doubt the subject even came up......it's like work....I think the writer made it up but I guess we will never know, it seems the parties are downplaying it.

Kefa, I hear you.....but you can see where he might have apologized but at the same time denied it because he didn't want to create a rift between him and rondo but yet be still cool with CP3.

If a close friend of yours was talking $hit with your co-worker, and your co-worker said something to offend him so much that he was willing to go to your job to have words.......would you still talk to your friend and kinda half apologize on his behalf yet still deny it to your co-worker so there wouldn't any issues at work.......isn't that possible?

Again just playing the opposite side....who knows what happened....but.....hey....life goes on.

I second this. (Sorry, I don't feel right saying "This." just yet

). At no point did it look like Paul was the one instigating the beef after the game, or during the game for that matter. I was surprised to hear so many recounts of what happened by people who clearly hadn't watched a second of the game.
