Turn Shannon Brown Loose!

Post#1 » by ALL HAIL » Wed Nov 4, 2009 4:31 pm

Shannon Brown needs to see some minutes at backup PG but he needs to see the majority of his minutes backing up both Kobe and Artest (with Kobe sliding to SF).

I think he can guard 85-90 percent of the shooting guards in the league.

I think Phil Jackson is bringing him along slowly but I think within the next month or two he should be taking all of Vujacic and Walton's minutes.

Also, sorry guys but their won't be any big trades this year. Kupchak like Ainge should have done his work in the summer ... not getting Marquis Daniels might haunt us forever.

Let us all pray that Artest stays healthy ... he is our second most important player. If Phil starts giving Shannon Brown significant minutes NOW, we might be able to sustain an injury to Kobe or Artest.

He'll be out the closet in about four years. I don't care who he's supposedly dating ... he is a fruitcake.

Would any REAL dudes take those girlly-a** pics on his website?

If he was my teammate he wouldn't be allowed to slap me on my a**!

Brown needs more minutes now, playing 10 minutes a game is ridiculous.

Anyone but Farmar. I've totally soured on that clown. Getting pretty close with Sasha, too. Shannon's got some pretty big holes in his game, but at least he cares.

I'd like to see Fish start, but get only a short 1st run to be replaced by Shannon. I think while Odom is a starter Shannon should mostly play with the starters so he can get some open looks and Fish can make the 2nd unit better.

I'm pretty mad at the bench slobs right now.

i like the idea of brown at the sg. his ball handling skills haven't been all that great, even for the low expectations of a triangle pg.

They're not good enough to playmake, but they're good enough for everything else. No worse than Fish's, at least.

Fish simply gets burned by these young PGs. He could hardly keep up with Brooks, or should I say couldn't keep up at all. Shannon needs to Start and Fish should gracefully come off the bench. It may work out better with Odom and Fish off the bench when Gasol returns.

EDIT: Spelling

Fish looked like ish last night. People dont realize this but look it how he is slowing this team down specially when he gets beat by the opposing p.g. It causes two things, in causes our team to constantly play help defense and basically help defense either gets there too late and commits a dumb foul or leaves his man alone and then allows his man to score. We need to bench Fish. Vet or no vet and I could careless if he is a captain. Captains lead by example and right now he is setting some bad examples.
