Wow, are you drunk? Not sure what conversation your following, but not this one, I quoted you saying the team is not hungry, from the last page, go read it again , try to follow son, that's your quote dude, do you not see this?

SKIP YOU I got your son right here.
I misunderstood your first post since I thought you were quoting me on my entire post, but then you cameback asking me about 08 09 remarks. If your quoting me on the team not being hungry then why are you bringing up the 08 09 remarks magicfairy?

I dont think this team is hungry, not as hungry as others.

I see you have comprehension isssues, as I clearly just quoted one sentence in my post to you asking if your seriously judging a teams "being hungry" off of a three game season. You are simply an unintelligent person I am seeing here, you can't follow a conversation, and your logic is non existant "son"

Now off with you, you are not worthy of another post.

LMAO...... Your a MORON seriously. My comprehension issues??? By the way learn how to spell issues before you try to use it next time.................... Not only are you immature since it very obvoius by your childish posts and your constant whinning and crying you do on here about everything, but your taking my post and twisting it around douchebag. I addressed the fact that I misunderstood your initial post , but I came back and replied and explained and I pointed out what I ment and yet you being the intelligent one still cameback asking me about 08 when I clearly had explained to you what I ment about Farmar and Sasha as individuals.

Magicfairy wrote:
Tell me are they playing any different than they have since 08. Have you seen any improvement when it comes to these two guys. Come on now dont hold out, you already called me out.

You mean 09? :o
What does 08 have to do with this squad? We have an older Bynum, we are missing Pau, and we have Ron Artest who is still working his way into figuring out how to play with new teamates, so again dude, what freakin conversation are you in here?  Geez.

Oh and by the way you can call me son if you like, hell you can call me bro, uncle, theo whatever makes you feel like were family  ......Im cool with it, I mean your  and your  call me BIG DADDY, so Im cool with you calling me son magicfairy. Now run along before I call your  and tell her to put you on timeout.

You seem to forget what you said, let me re quote your own silly words to remind you....

Tony Montague said...
"SO far to me its seems as if this team isnt hungry anymore."

This after three games brah, THREE games?

Ridiculous comment, ridiculous logic.

i fail to see the ridiculousness of that

yes 3 games is a small sample size, but that doesn't hamper ones ability to gage the hunger of a team
would it make any difference if he had said the team doesn't show effort? and that certainly can be addressed over a three game period

Hermes, you can clearly see that I posted my comment about the teams HUNGER as well as my disappointment about both Sasha and Farmar and that they havent improved their games since our loss in 08 to the Cs.

TonyMontana wrote:SO far to me its seems as if this team isnt hungry anymore. Hopefully we can get our ish together before we start losing more game and fall in the standings and not be able to get H.C.A.
As far as Farmar and Sasha they need to get traded. They're not helping this team at all. Not only are they not helping this team but their bad decisions are dragging down the rest of the team as well.

When he replied back to me I though he was quoting my entire post and made it short so when I replied back I replied to both of my posts and I asked him if he disagrees. So as we know this KID and all his antics and how he attacks every poster on here he took my posts SSSSSSSSSSS not my post but my postsssssssssss  and ran with it. Now I did address that I made a mistake on my intial post, but I know and everyone knows about this KID and how immature he is. So he took that remark and ran with it.
He's not debating my posts, his only goal and intention is trying to make me look bad. He's a  kid. I bet you he's not even 18 years old.

You understood my post and so did everyone else, but he keeps on insisting and using my initial post trying hard to make me look bad. I didnt understand the intial post yet I replied back that I havent seen any improvement when it comes to these TWO players (Farmar/Sasha) and thats what I asked him but he wants to keep pulling up the same ish and he keeps posting the same garbage.

This team isnt hungry right now. The Celtics are hungry, every team we meet everynight is hungry. Hell even OT last night was hungry. You could clearly see in their game. Being hungry specially in sports doesnt only mean hungry about winning the title. O.T's hunger last night was to beat the Champs in their house and they were drivin to do that.

Every team we face on any givin nights are going for the kill when it comes to the Lakers. Its taking the big dog out, period. Whether its for a title or beating the best we have a bullseye on our back and everyone is shooting for it. We have to step in each game and know that we have to beat everyone and repeat. You dont think other contenders are watching our game and realizing how poorly we are playing when it comes to the Clipper or O.T?

When we have a lead we cant give those leads up specially to sub 500 teams. Some of our players are playing like H.C.A doesnt count. Ask the Cs that same question? Or better yet ask the Spurs the same question. I could careless if this our third game and who's playing and who's not. We have to take every single game like its our last game.

Any three game stretch is not a good example of anything really, There were three games stretches last year that you could say we didn't look like a championship team, did it mean anything? Nope. It's a ridiculous assertion to go off any three game stretch and then make a logical conclusion of any supposed point.

And, we are missing our second best player, so again, any assertion that we "are not hungry" Is kind silly isn't it, since we are not even playing our best and at full strength?

Again, ridiculous comment.

Listen little man, your maturity and how much you know about this game really shows through your posts and as well as how ignorant you can be when it comes to this game we call BASKETBALL. You can sit here and post that you've been a Laker fan longer than I have been alive, but you have no clue WTH your talking about.

Let me explain.
When we the returning champs with the addition of one of the top 5 defenders on our team cant hold a team down under 100 points it means we suck on defense. If we the champs can take a huge lead and lose that lead in a matter of minutes then were not playing on a championship level. If our bench cant maintain our lead and we have to reinsert our starting 5 against the Clippers or the O.T then we are not contenders. And all of that boils down to being HUNGRY to repeat and win another title. With or without Pau if we played the Celtics we would get swept away in 4 games.

So you can sit here and blow smoke up everyones arses and claim you have been a Laker fan for 100 years or you know the game but honestly you have no clue WTH your talking. I dont claim I do but I know that contenders come out putting teams out everynight beating them and sending out a message to the other teams that they are here to win a title. I know that, you know why cause Ive played the game and Ive been a fan of the game since the day I could walk and I seen the Showtime Lakers as well as the Cs and the Bulls when they were the defending champs.

SO far this team isnt hungry. The only team right now that is hungry and is showing it everynight is the Cs and a few other teams like Miami Suns Wizards Minny O.T. But by far the team to beat this year is the Cs and they are proving it everynight.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself NBA league pass and start watching some of these teams play then you might have a clue your talking about.

Don't have time to read your long winded diatribes, shorten it up a bit skippy, cliff notes son, learn to be more prudent with your words.

Bottom line is, taking any three game stretch and makeing a claim of some assesement for the whole team (and a team that is not even playing at full strength, is an absolute ridiculous assertion.

No matter how you slice it, your comment "this team is not hungry" after three games is the mentatlity of a 14 year old that watches one game, reads a few box scores, and says something ridiculous.

How about wait till we get Pau back?

How about we wait until Artest is playing well with his new teamates, may take another 3 games

How about we wait till the seasons at least half over then make some assessemnts shall we dar dar?
