Double double and a HUGE defensive play. The Big Ticket gets it, no doubt about it.

Where is the option for Pecherov? lol. We didn't take him serious at all and it came back to bite us as he was 'sota's biggest scorer tonight, and he looked good. I wouldn't mind seeing him in Boston next season.

I gave it to KG. He had another rough night scoring-wise, but he came up with the crucial defensive play on Brewer (why did 'sota go to him in the clutch again?), then made the right play on the jump ball.

Rondo is a very close second, but I didnt give it to him b/c almost ALL of his points were b/c he wasn't even being guarded. No, you can't really blame Rondo for that, but what was 'sota thinking? And Flynn was playing in the paint when Rondo was at the top of the key? Why doesn't Rondo even TRY a 19 foot jumper? Wow. He did NOT want to shoot tonight.

Good, clutch, gutsy win. I expected a battle, like I said in the gamethread. 2nd night of a back to back on the road vs a team that has played us very tough the past 2 seasons.

Oh, and if Pierce gets a vote, please never vote again b/c you totally would show your "homerism" for him. He had a very rough night. He must've been tired or something because he wasn't the PP we all know and love. That, and Ryan Gomes D'd him up. Gomes looked more like Pierce tonight than Pierce himself did. Hopefully we won't see many more of these types of games from the Capt the rest of the season.

This is a tough one KG had a very clutch defensive play but Rondo turned the tide in the 3rd quarter and gave the team life. However, I think you got to expect Rondo to convert the looks he had tonight so I'm going to give it to KG.

Didn't see the IF in the sentence? I didn't say anyone did vote for him. I said IF anyone. Its not me hating on Paul or anything, I love him and want him to get the ball all the time in the 4th in close games, but tonight, he was just totally off his game.

Cigar is clearly between KG - double double, great D, game saving tip etc. versus the great Q3 displayed by Rondo partly because they ignored him. I think he scored all of his points around the hoop - I do not recall 1 J except for the ones he missed.

I will go with KG! Hopefully, the 2008 KG will be back sooner rather than later game in game out.

Paul clearly did not have it tonight except for a clutch 3 point play and some nice hustle - he had no lift whatsoever on what would have been the game icing J with 20 seconds to go.

Agreed that he was off tonight, but after doing a lot of these threads, it's better to add everyone as possible, otherwise people will chant for the poll to be re-made.

One time I added perkins to please a crowd of two, and KG won 37 to 3. :D

Voted for KG coming up big on the defensive end and finding Rondo a number of times on offense. 6-0 the Suns next. :D

Rajon Rondo kept us in this game so i'm going Rondo (Oleksiy Pecherov can ball they didn't re up him I'm saying get him right now, he played hard every play)
Kg gets honorable mention with a double double.

I went with KG. KG led the Cs in crunchtime for the 2nd time in the last 3 games. From the time the Cs were down 1 with 5 minutes left, KG spoon-fed the only two Cs buckets then made the game-saving defensive play.

Is it possible to not have a victory cigar for this one?

It doesn't feel right that anyone should get a cigar for tonight's performance.

I'm pretty sure many Wolves fans didn't even know who Oleksiy Pecherov was until tonight. Then he morphs into Dirk Nowitzki and has a career game. The most frustrating feeling is having a team full of Hall of Famers clank shot after shot, and then having some unknown vagrant player come in and turn into an MVP, confidently nailing tough shots, as if it's something he's done even once before in his basketball career.

I voted for Rondo because of his 14 points in the third quarter.

Rondo with 18. He shot 50% from the floor and 100% from the line, can't ask for much better than that from him on the offensive end. He also had 6 assts, 4 rebs, 3 stls. The Wolves didn't really pressure him but Rondo's usually not this assertive scoring the ball. KG is a close second, and Rasheed is a distant 9th, he chucked so many bad shots tonight. Good win by the Celts though, Minny looks alright this year.

That's my feeling on this one. I would've said KG for the big play at the end, but Oleg Taktarov over there made Kg look old and slow most of the night, so no can do.

Coulda gone with Rondo for the third quarter, which was pretty big. But....Rondo ran the offense pretty poorly most of the night. To be honest I didn't see much of an offense at all with Rondo or Eddie running it, not even necesarrily their faults. it was just stagnant with a lot of bad decision making.

So I pick Perk. Good post defense, gave us some scoring in the first half, couple nice blocks. He didn't have as many bad moments as the rest of the bunch, he's the only one I could say had a "good" game., besides Shelden in his 10 minutes.
