Pacesetter @ NYK

Post#1 » by Miller4ever » Thu Nov 5, 2009 3:04 am

Vote here.

Granger-fouled out with 21 points, 5 boards, 4 steals, and a block. Wasn't hitting his shot, but was also playing PF the whole game. +11 on plus/minus, maybe more if he didn't foul out with the garbage time points scored by Pacers.

Ford-closed out the game in the 4th with his jumpers finally hitting for what seems like the first time this whole season. Posted a goose egg on plus/minus.

Dahntay-kept us alive offensively in the 2nd and 3rd. He started to force things a bit as a heat check, but played solid defense. Double-doubled.

Rush-wasn't hitting his open shots, but double-doubled and made some key plays. 2 steals and a block. +13 on plus/minus.

Solomon-hustled immensely, blocking shots and made all three of his attempts. Only Pacer with a negative plus/minus.

Watson-posted a team-high +16 for plus/minus. He picked his shots and took care of the ball, the only Pacer without a turnover.

Head-don't vote for him unless you like his statistical lineup: 3-2-1-1-1. He also got 1 TO and 1 foul.

Hibbert-Posted 2nd straight double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds, a steal and 2 blocks. Hustled everywhere. Definitely a bright spot for our team and, like fellow sophomore Brandon Rush, earned +13 on plus/minus.

I pick Hibbert. I'm really high on him right now.

Hey, look who's back! Why vote for one of the 3 guys who got a double-double when we have TJ?! :D

I am going with Dahntay, Hibbert being a close second.

I know it doesn't count for anything, but I'm voting for Dahntay for team MVP so far through 4 games. Danny is averaging more points, but they've been pretty lackluster stats other than the ATL game.

I am going with Hibbert. I love the way he is playing now. He played really well, and I know through the first half he didn't even have a single foul. back to back games with doubles double with he didnt even have one last year. He is playing really good. Hard to not pick Dahntay or Brandon. Who said that Dahntay was the worst signing of the summer? lol I dont hear them now. He shut them up

I did love how Hibbert had 0 fouls, that was awesome and I was going to vote for him b/c of that (well and the double-double too, obviously). I didn't like the 5 turnovers, though. 5 combined turnovers and fouls isn't too bad, though.

TJFIG, where'd you disappear to? Are you going to continue posting?

Hibbert has been unbelievable so far. I thought he might play like this by the end of the year but I'll take it earlier. Personally I didn't like the Pacers drafting him but he has really surprised me.
But my vote goes to Jones. He was really key against the Knicks and our first win.

Actually I'm splitting this one.
0.5 TJ Ford for closing out the game
0.5 Dahnty Jones.

I'd love to also vote for Hibbert but alas we can't split our vote 3 ways.

Hibbert .334
D.Jones .333
K.Rush .200
TJ Ford .133

Just kidding ..... gotta go with the big here. Not since Smits ( in his prime) have I been so optimistic about the center position. It is so damn hard to find a legit 7 footer and somehow Bird may have found one.
