I know its cliche but defense is useless without rebounding...

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

seemed like he took a bad shot at the worst times...stupid stupid kings
You can see the skill and talent he could grow into, but it's clear that until it comes with a jump shot he's going to be a limited player. He has to shoot better. Also it doesn't seem like he has a clue to running an offense.
In time though I think we will see those things work out.
KANGZZZZZ!

Evans right now is trying too hard. When he starts to not force things he will play better. It takes time. He can't have as many shots as he had and not pass more. Thompson had been forcing things and finally loosened up today and played great. Hawes didn't get enough touches. Even Lebron now spends most of time getting the ball to his teammates then taking over at the end. That is where Evans will end up.
Don't be 2 mad either the Spurs and Atlanta are 2 of the loses were against the best 8 teams in the league. We are not really ready to beat the best consistently. Thompson missed a easy layup with a minute left to close it to 4 because he rushed. A few years ago the Hawks were an up and down team, now they win close games against anyone. Winning comes from experience.
The basketball is much better this year.

Totally agreed. Not mad they lost at all.
Grant said something I totally agree with, that this season shouldn't be judged by wins & losses.
I think last night was a prime example of this. They hung in there, played good the whole game but lost to a better team. They can learn from games like this.
All in all, this team "so far" is much more fun to watch, especially since its younger players who have potential.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.
That just happened.

Basically agree with others. Would have liked the win, but we saw a lot of positives.
As for Tyreke, I'm not really concerned, just a little disappointed, I guess. My hopes were probably too high. Like others, I expected him to come in right away, and start playing like a ROY, and it's starting to become clearer that that probably won't be happening. However, I still have faith in the pick. You can definitely see glimpses of his potential. To me, you see a player's potential in the plays he makes, not the stats he puts up. Tyreke shows great potential at times, but he clearly has a whole lot to learn about running a team and just pro ball in general. I also think it's fair to say that his injuries are still bothering him a bit. You could see on a couple of drives he just wasn't quite getting the necessary lift (I would assume he usually gets better lift, because otherwise he wouldn't have played as well as he did in college).
