run everything threw the post...this is where the gizz have a massive advantage!i know the gizz want to play tempo but this may be one of those games when the gizz would benefit from slowing it down at times.
trust me...i know what the hell i'm talking about!

It would help in their favor to slow the Warriors down. My concern is with half the team not known for their man to man defense how will they be able to sustain the face pace Warriors tonight.

Just let them shoot and collect the rebounds.

Warriors are one of the worst pro teams of the decade. I regret going to see them in person every time. If it wasn't for Anthony Morrow I would completely ignore this game.

You guys got a steal in AI for 3.5 mill. Whatever he ran his mouth after the first loss... it's just frustration.

He'll start... but it's not bad... he's still got it.

The only thing I dislike about the Grizz... a lot of 1 on 1 basketball. No offensive flow.

they had a couple of good possessions with ball movement...their defense is suspect though

They arent gonna win many games this year either just because of their defense. Their offense seems fine (I'm going off of box scores so correct me if I'm wrong) as far as scoring goes. The lowest they've kept a team to in a game so far is 96 pts. Multiple people went off for 20+ pt games tonight and they've let people scorch them each game.

I guess this lost makes Memphis the WORST team of the decade.

the grizz look so inexperienced and disoriented out there including allen. they need another vet allstar to really make some noise ASAP! if they don't the rest of the season is gonna get real ugly!

Our porous defense was terrible. I felt like channeling Charles Barkley - "Just knock someone on their ass next time they come in the paint" and they'll stop driving every single time.

Really? 24 assists on 39 field goals against the Warriors, and averaging around 107PPG as a team = alot of 1 on 1 basketball and no offensive flow?

Defense is the problem, not the offense.

If the grizz wanna even come close to .500 this year they should trade for Conley. AI is much better and to be honest conley is not good enough to put in the starting lineup and risk losing even more in order to develop his game. He will never develop into an allstar, or even a top 10 pg in his division. I would rather develop marcus williams instead.

If you understand how much Memphis has invested in Conley (picked him #4 overall, traded Kyle Lowry to end the competition between the two, took Thabeet instead of Evans/Rubio/Curry in favor of Conley, etc.), and you realize how little Memphis has invested in Iverson (who incidentally was signed strictly for ticket sales by the owner, contrary to the wished of the rest of the organization) then you will understand why Memphis is absolutely not going to trade the extremely young Conley in favor of the 34 year old Iverson on a 1-year contract who wouldn't even be in the NBA had it not been for the Grizzlies. They aren't that asinine.

Regardless of what anyone thinks about the guy, Conley has a lot more value around the league than AI does. So if Memphis trades him for $50c on the dollar, and then Iverson's contract expires and Memphis doesn't re-sign him, Memphis is going to be without a true PG, have wasted their investment, looked moronic in the process of doing so. Just think about the consequences Memphis would face before claiming that Memphis should trade Conley in favor of Iverson. If Iverson keeps bitchin' then Memphis can just buy him out and be done with it.

Memphis should never drafted Thabust. I don't know what the fo is thinking. They already have Marc Gasol who is up and coming. Memphis shoulda drafted Tyreke Evans or someone else who can contribute.
