Nocioni arrested on DUI

Sacramento Kings forward Andres Nocioni has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

Nocioni, 29, was arrested by Sacramento Police and booked into Sacramento County Jail at 3:30 this morning, according to a Sacramento County Jail Web site.

A Sacramento police spokesman said that at about 2 a.m. an officer noticed a motorist southbound on 15th Street near L Street whose vehicle was weaving within its lane. The officer stopped the car near Ninth and L streets.

The officer noticed that there was an odor of alcohol when speaking with the driver. Nocioni was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Sacramento police don't play when it comes to DUI's. Huge moneymaker for the city. Don't get me wrong, definitely shouldn't be done but I always see checkpoints and the cops in full force.

On the plus side Casspi should see some more playing time because of Nocioni being stupid. Nocioni is likely to atleast get a suspension if not from the league then by the team. Maybe we'll even see Greene get some minutes.

Bad move by Nocioni's part. That's not smart. Here's the thing, the guy makes millions of dollars, why can't he just call a taxi or a limo to drive him back home? Instead he is risking people's life on the road drunk.

Everyone knows that he cannot handle losing. The Kings lost a heartbreaker and bang. He will have to go for everyone's sake. Petrie will be patient and find the best deal.

It's about the only thing I agree them pulling you over for, everything else = revenue unless you're like J-Rich and go 90 in a 35, that sounds bad too..

A funny scenario would be J-Rich at the wheel driving fast, Nocioni in charge of the liquor and Delonte with swords and guns.. I just think they need Z-Bo in the back seat to handle the cops.. They'd be set :lol:

That's class... Petrie has made a few bad trades in his day, but I have to admit- Salmons and Miller (who is expiring this year) for Nocioni might have been his worst.

I think that's an awesome idea. A very diverse cast. J-Rich: black, speed demon. Nocioni: foreign guy, drinker. West: Bi-Polar (hitting it off with the disabled viewers), crazy guy with guns, hard to tell if he's black or not, he's got herpes. And imagine what could be done with Z-Bo and his delightfully fat face.

They could be like the Beatles.

ANY CITY man, not just sacramento, everyone is serious about it because it is a serious issue and it happens a lot, which is kinda sad
