He's just not getting the open 3s that he did last season. Part of the reason is our lack of ball movement and execution on offense. He's fine though, I mean he didn't get embarrassed by Brooks tonight.

Congrats on the win Guys. As a Massive Rockets fan, (With a Brother in Law who loves the Lakers,) I always look forward to our games, (especially since they seem to like showing Houston VS LA on ESPN here in Australia, and that was before we signed Andersen!) It is what I love to see in a game. Hard nosed play, with gritty defence, and neither team said die. I am not going to make excuses for losing, we had an oppurtunity to win, and we didn't seize it.

I'm not going to bother blowing smoke up Kobe's butt either. He gets enough of that already. Your team is screwed though if you lose him for a prolonged period of time. He is without a doubt, the best player currently in the game. Lebron may have his time, but it's Kobe's now.

I think we really surprised you guys tonight. I know you were coming off an Overtme win, but I don't think any team in this league is ready for what we are going to do this year. We may not see you in the Playoffs, But we are sure as hell going to fight every team we play to the end. And not only that, we are going to be a lot of fun to watch. We have the advantage of having a group of young guys, that have all been together as a team for a while, (Landry, Brooks, Battier, Scola, Hayes) and they have been given a green light to run and gun. Keep up, or you will be playing catch up.

It's going to be a fun season if you are a Rox fan, the pressure is all on you guys. We have nothing to lose, and everything to prove. I look forward to our next match up. Hell, I look forward to our next three match ups. They have a big red circle on my calendar.

Again, congrats on a solid win.

Yeah. He also hasn't embarrassed anyone himself thus far. I can understand the flow of the offense isn't up to par with where it should be but again, I mean yeah its still early in the season. However, zero zero zero and more zeros across the board on 34 f'n minutes of play is inexcusable. I really hope he picks his play up but then again, you can only go up with a stat line like that. Damn. Damn. Damn.

Kam_soluusar,

Congrats on having the peskiest team in the league. Great game. Wish the Rockets best luck this season as well. They're really a much better team then what they appear on paper. I don't think you guys surprised anyone tonight. I think everyone here remembers this Rockets team well. I expected a fight last night and I'll expect another the next 3 times. Didn't think it would go to OT, though. Great game. Most people are delusional about the entire James being the best player in the game also. Even some Laker fans here. Nice to see some fans can really acknowledge the top player in the game today.

It was an ugly game with a nice finish , Bynum improved a lot imo.

You guys need to do something about the bench , Gasol back and Odom off the bench will help but is not enough but you guys know that already , it's gonna be hard to repeat with a weak bench like this.

Good luck the rest of the way Lakers.

Bynum totally got spanked on the rebounds. 17 boards?! Those are point guard numbers. Step it up Drew...

nobody will be pleased until you get 33 rebounds.

It seems to happen this way a little too coincidentally, and while I appreciate and love the fact that he comes up with big plays like this, it bothers me in some respect because it provides a foil for people who don't put as much value in the first 47 1/2 minutes as maybe someone like I do, to disregard the rest of his game as unimportant.

Oh well. The sun rises.

I dont Fish got that steal.

And do you know why I recognise that Kobe is the best in the game currently? Because he wanted to work on his post game in the summer, so who does he ask.

One of the Greatest, Olajuwon. That shows smarts.

And a few of his moves against us were definately reminiscent of the "Dream Shake" that served us Rockets fans so well, for so many years. I love how players are not afraid to ask if they can get help to improve. Even Kobe.

Now damn you Lakers, go out and lose some games!

The only play defensively that really aggravated me for Andrew, was when Scola drove right by him and got a lay-up. That's the only one. Besides that.. on pick and roll defence, there has to be another player who rotates from the other side. That player was usually absent last night.
