Oregon has something to say about that. Such as 460 rushing yards.

Jake Locker is the worst passer I have ever seen. He overthrew receivers at least half a dozen times, some by 5 or more yards. He was barely accurate on even midrange stuff. He should be grateful to have a 40% completion percentage.

Kid has a set of legs, though.

Also, Fuskies fans are the epitome of classless. Oregon fans don't throw beer cans at opposing fans walking between tents.

I've said this before (well kinda), and I'll say it again:

If any team west of the Mississippi were to play Oregon at this point of the season, they'd get obliterated.

Sat. thoughts:
--Notre Dame is extremely undertalented. But their coaches aren't helping them out either with the schemes and playcalling. As an alum of a school that won 7 football games in 6 years, I know when bad players are the difference and bad coaching is the difference. ND is both right now.

--Joe McKnight is Reggie Bush-fast. If he ever learns to break even the weakest arm tackle (he hasn't yet) he's gonna be scary-good.

--Ohio State survived a huge test from MSU. Typical Tressel ball, do just enough to win and execute better when the chips are all in the pot. I think the Spartans are a bit underrated and they are extremely well-coached. The Buckeyes cannot play loose with the ball and the lead next week or else they're going to get pounded at PSU.

--Michigan showed me a lot last night, winning without Hart and with Henne in and out of the lineup. Illinois has great talent at some spots but the overall depth and inexperience at the offensive skill positions really showed down the stretch. Shawn Crable will be moving up some draft boards

--LSU/Auburn was a fun game to watch. I thought Glenn Dorsey once again looked like he was pacing himself instead of going all-out on every snap. He reminds more of Shaun Rogers every time I see him, for better and for worse. Sadly I went to bed before the ending of the game, have to catch the last 7 or so minutes somewhere...

--Missouri stormed back into the national title picture by pasting TTU. Holding that offense to 10 points is darn impressive. Who would have ever thought that a Kansas-Missouri football game might decide who plays in a BCS bowl? Props to Kansas for surviving another real test too.

--I suspected UCLA was going to beat Cal, but what gets me is how awful Cal plays any time they're pressured in tight games. Mark my words--that team will lose a lot more than it wins against legit good teams, and it points squarely at their coaches.

--HUGE win for UVA over Maryland, what a fantastic finish. I only sporadically watched it, but every time I did Chris Long was beating a doubleteam and making plays in the backfield

They only do that to Duck fans. I can walk around anywhere in Seattle wearing an OSU sweatshirt and never hear a peep. And the last game I went to at Husky Stadium, I had a great time joking around with Husky fans. They just don't like UO fans up here...you guys have a very bad reputation of being arrogant jackasses to anyone that comes to Eugene (not making any specific claims myself, just reporting what I have heard from multiple sources). I know people who have gone to the Pit for a UW/UO game and were spit on and verbally abused...and they happened to be there with Aaron Brooks' mother (a co-worker's wife works with his mom). It sounds like the treatment you received is payback treatment for what Husky fans get in Eugene.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

This is his first year on the field give the kid a break, he's by far not the worst passer around., If you watch the Huskies the first thing that stands out is the lack of talent on that team. Jake's receivers dont help him much either, they dont come back to the ball and dont read coverage to make any kind of adjustments. If Jake were playing for Oregon yesterday he would have looked all world out there. The Huskies are just not a good football team.

I thought the defense played alright. The score is misleading. Twice the offense turned the ball over inside the 30 and one TD was at the end of the game. They forced a bunch of punts for a pretty talented USC team.

The offense is just an abortion right now though. It's excruciating. I've never seen a team have so little ability to move the ball. They're on pace for the worst rushing numbers in the NCAA over the past 5 years for God's sake. Every possession is a turnover or 3 and out.

Defense is playing pretty good ball like you said but that offense is atrocius, I think the thing that people question is the fact that Charlie was this offensive guru with the Pats and why cant he just put people in the correct spots to make plays.

Yup, he's got receiving skills too, maybe not like Bush, but much better than other backs.

Sounds about right. I'm not going to sit here and pretend that Oregon fans are the epitome of class (quite far from it). And I've seen Oregon fans do some pretty terrible s**t to opposing fans. But the Huskies fans were still the worst I've ever encountered.

No we weren't. We don't have an "Oregon" cheer. But I'll admit that I didn't hear the national anthem until halfway through.

If Jake was playing for Oregon, he probably would have done nothing more than Dennis Dixon did.

I came away from that game pretty impressed at him because you can see the raw talent. He certainly has the arm strength, he doesn't shy away from tough throws or contact, and he's a threat to score on nearly every play. But some of those passes were flat-out ugly and, while I guess it's a strategic move, his scramble-and-throw-it-away play that he did a couple of times gets real grating.

His receivers are marginal but they're quick and got good separation in the secondary. Coupled with Allotti's defense (the worst scheme in the nation) and how terrible the secondary played (very outside of Byrd's critical INT), their good game was well-deserved.

I know I absolutely railed on the Huskies in preseason but they should win 4 games this year. I'll be surprised if they don't.

whatever it was, it was disrespectful and distasteful.
