Pistol Petrie...
If Petrie were to retire at the end of the season whom would you want to become GM? Cooper? Levian? Or would you want somebody else?

I'm sure Levian would.

I'm not that familiar with many 'ex-gm' cuz, they're EXED for a reason. So sure, why not, he seems to have a good eye for talent.

Jason Levian is the assistant GM. So, I think he would hold the reigns if Petrie retires.

Levian for sure. He is Petrie's protegie, so why not let him take the reins.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

I think that Petrie has been grooming Levian for the job when he decides to call it quits. The impetus to do so might have come from him having to have stents done (last year or two years ago?) and getting a bit of a wake-up call on the fact that he isn't exactly in the healthiest and most stress-free of careers.

Re: Pistol Petrie...
I Can't Imagine this team without him...
hes the only GM in nba that drafted the whole starting lineup and that's very impressive
C-Hawes
PF-JT
SF-Garcia
SG-Kevin Martin
PG-Evans

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

Speaking of Garcia. I am more concerned with his return than Martin's. Garcia has always had the problem of dribbling too much and killling the ball movement. He obviously has a ton of postives and is a good point forward, but I am curious to see if he will play within the team.

I don't think Cisco has had that problem for while. He'll take a bad shot every now and then, but he'll also make a bad shot every now and then. I never remember thinking that Cisco was any kind of chronic over-dribbler--at least not since maybe his rookie year.

Re: Pistol Petrie...
Really? Because I always have thought that. Don't get me wrong, I love what he brings, I just don't want him to have a false idea of how good he is. He is the leader of this team, so that might make him think he has more responsibilty on the floor than he actually does.
Also, what does this do for Casspi? Udoka? I actually think Udoka might be a better fit for this current team...I don't mean to stir another "trade Martin" -type trend, but just a concern.

I expect to see KMart back before Cisco. Both these guys are smart players and are watching whats going on with the Kings team current success. I expect both to come back and blend their games into what the Kings are doing.

I'm completely 100% the other way. With the way this team is playing I know Cisco will fit in perfectly, however I'm not too sure about Kevin. I honestly can't wait to see Cisco with this team. It's just a shame he's out for so long.
