Carl Landry

Post#1 » by aklay1 » Fri Nov 6, 2009 12:44 pm

What are your thoughts on him?

I haven't watched any rockets matches yet this season but i know that he's improved on last season stats-wise and he's looking good from that perspective. How is he looking on the court?

Is there a way he can get more minutes? Or is he basically stuck on 22-25 per night?

Landry is becoming a heck of a player. And he's very exciting to watch. He should just continue to become better and better.

Landry has shot 58% from the field over his CAREER :o And now his FT shooting is much better too.

Give Landry starter minutes now, and he should approach 20 PPG / 9+ RBG

He's been this good. Where have you people been ? The difference is with yao's injury he has more space inside, and more playing time and touches.

But how would he actually get more minutes?

I think he deserves more as well but I just can't see how

put it this way, if he gets 20+ shots per game, he is going straight to the all stars game, starting lineup.

I've been saying he will be an All Star from the first time I saw him play. If he develops a reliable 15-20ft Jumpshot, he will be unstoppable. It is good to see that he is less foul prone, (Comes from experience) and he definately deserves starter minutes. However he won't get them as long as Scola is here. With Andersen still taking time to adjust, it is basically a 3 man Centre/Power Forward rotation anyway.

Landry Will be an All Star. I can't wait until it happens, then I can start on the "I told you so" rant!
