Is Larry Nance really anyone's "favorite all time Suns player"? Take that out and put Marion in!

KJ all the way. I love KJ. The fact he came OUT of retirement to help Phoenix since we were plagued by injuries just speaks volumes of his character. A class act both on and off the court. Not to mention he has one of the sickest dunks in NBA history.

you guys have no idea how lousy it was back then, no game televised until Christmas, one a week after that and (maybe) one ABA game if CBS didn't preempt it.

The Hawk was so badass too. My dad is a mail carrier and used to run into him when he was playing tennis. He had built a rapport with him, and he got me his NBA rookie card autographed (note: not his ABA rookie card, NBA). Such a nice man. I met him years and years ago at a Rattlers game. I was so nervous walking up and talking to him I just froze. He said "You alright, son? You want to take a seat? I don't mind." and let me sit by him in an empty seat until I caught myself. I talked to him for a few minutes, thank him for his time and then he signed a shirt my mom wanted signed. Very very down to earth.

I still remember the day we traded JKidd. my dad called me, (I was about 11 or 12?) and told me we traded him. I cried a bit, LoL.

Nice story - if ever there was guy who could let himself be eaten up by anger and resentment, it's the Hawk. He really got f**********d over by the powers that be. If you haven't, dig Wolf's "Foul: The Connie Hawkins Story"

It's a tie between Barkley and Nash. I voted Nash though.

Nash
Barkley
KJ
Majerle

my favourite four.

i grew up idolizing KJ. my vote is for KJ. a true class act in every aspect of the word. Nash comes in at a close 2nd. I'm old school, so I gotta go with KJ.

How can Tom Chambers and Thunder Dan not be in the list??? Eddie Johnson was my fav player as a kid but right now Dudley is by far my favorite player. The dude needs to be extended now. He has already earned enough respect to now be paid.

I'm going with Marjerle, I was going to put a huge "WTF" post here, but I took the time to read the [dreadfully long] three pages of posts, so now I at least know why he isn't an option.

Dude just had his 3-point record broken by Nash the other night... and just in case some of you don't remember, McD's had a **** chicken sangwich named after him. A MOTHER **** McD's CHICKEN SANGWICH!

(Ya McD's sucks, but I think you all get my point)

Wow this is tough for me. My icon gives an idea, I would pick Dan Majerle. However Steve Nash is a close , close, close second. He may surpass soon. After that Grant Hill (idolized way before he was a Sun), Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, Charles Barkley, Danny Ainge, Kevin Johnson, etc.

#1 Walter Davis

honorable mentions would be Dennis Johnson, Westphal and Nash

Barkley was probably the best player, but that's not the question

Return to Phoenix Suns
