Varejao, Biedrins or Channing Frye? Oh my!

Post#1 » by RingItUp! » Sat Nov 7, 2009 5:58 pm

Any help would be massively appreciated, fellow RGMers and fantasy geeks... (Yahoo, H2H, 12 team, standard cat)

Anderson Varejao is a FA and off to a useful start to the season. I've got an underachiever and an overachiever on my squad: Andris Biedrins and Channing Frye, respectively.

Is it time to make a move?

PG: Nash
SG: Eric Gordon
G: Artest
SF: Jeff Green
PF: Josh Smith
F: Jason Thompson
C: D Howard
Util: Louis Williams
B: Rose
B: Gallinari
B: Biedrins
B: Frye

If the rotation gets sorted out in GS and Biedrins starts getting ~30 mins/game, he'd help solidify my hold on boards, blocks and FG%.

If Frye maintains his position as Phoenix's starting C, he could be a valuable source of 3s and scoring.

Both of those are big ifs. Is Varejao a better option? Good FG%, steals and boards with a few blocks.

Hmmm...

I have biedrins as well and i have been beyond dissapointed. I think he is now gettin rest for his back and will be back better. Its the nellie offense, don't forget; maybe it's wishful thinking on my part.

i have frye on my sportingnews team currently; he doesnt give you the assets of a real big man, unless your looking for threes?

i'm not a fan of Varejao, so no.
