If Big Z came back after being bought out, sure why not.

The problem here is that Brand get's paid too much for what he has left in the tank. The 76er's would have to add a sweetener of some type to get the CAVs to bite.

No way that 66 mil stay in Cavs All Mighty's books for 4 yrs...for a slowing declining people with injury problem?...You can do better than that!

I wouldn't even do it with the first. Brand has one of the top 5 worst contracts (probably closer to top 3) and Philly couldn't find anyone to take Dally off their hands. People have a terrible misconception on Dally if they think he is good (or even decent).

Just random with the whole Wizards looking hopeless and stuff. If the Wizards wanted to get from out of their contracts and offered a deal around Arenas for Mo,Z,Hickson, 1st '10 and maybe '12, do we do it? I am just wondering at what point do they try to trade him and start over and at what point would we go to try and get Lebron some help?

Re: Big Z for Brand??
I don't think Arenas is enough of an upgrade from Mo that he'd make up for the loss of Z, Hickson and 2 first. We are already incredibly short on big men and that trade gives away 2 without giving us any.

Arenas is not worth 2 picks and 2 of our bigs and Mo...also when your thinking "will Arenas be a good fit on our team? Could he be a solid pg?" just go take a look at his quote about how he doesnt know whats going on with his team and why they are losing. Uh maybe it is because you are shooting 36% from the field, and have 5 assists a game to go along with your 5 turnovers a game. To be fair he is getting to the line though...and shooting 65% in his last 5 games.
So in summation, no gilbert arenas...maybe not even if it was just straight up mo for arenas, with his injury history and the drama he seems to bring up, dunno if it would be worth it.

I don't see anyone considering a trade involving Gilbert until he plays 70+ games this season. He would be amazing to watch playing off LeBron though.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Re: Big Z for Brand??
I don't know if Arenas has the personality to where he would be willing to take a backseat to James. He needs to be the focal point. Otherwise, he's not going to be happy. If he's not happy, then he's not going to produce. I still see Arenas as someone that cares more about personal achievements than championships.
