Yeah it was me. Do you do these while getting paid at work or is this your own time you use this? Either way is commitment to the cause.
I can't find a Goran Jersey on that website. Ugh...

My father in law is a programmer for NASA. He's at work 40 hours a week but according to him, he does about 5 hours of work a week. I understand where you're coming from

I see serious potential in him. He's improving quickly. He's gaining confidence. He's shooting like a man (instead of like a little girl like he was for a lot of last season). He's fast and crafty. He'll only get more crafty with experience. Anyone who's played competitive sports over an extended period of time (I wrestled for 6 years) knows just how much you learn just through experience. He'll start seeing more and more and get better and better at a faster and faster rate
Like I said, I hope I am wrong. But for example, this past draft was the deepest pg draft in recent memory with a bunch of guys going in the first round. We took Dragic in the second round the year prior and he has about the worst PER in the league last year.
He is definitely improving, but I don't know if I can see him as a franchise pg, when there are so many great pgs across the league. Perhaps he could start at some point, and rank in the top 25 or so in the league, but I just want better.

Re: can Dragic be our PG of the future
He has improved in PER this year. He is not 88th among guards...

whereas last year he was 125th

ummm... none of us are defending his play last year. The only reason people think the PGs in this draft are so good is because ther is really nothing else BUT decent point guards in this draft. PGs in the draft...
Ricky Rubio: Dragic will be better than Rubio. 5 steals and 1 block against a top 5 pick is no fluke.
Brandon Jennings: I always loved him. BJ is going to be a good player in this league, but I think that if dragic had been put in his situation, he would be able to have similar results.
Stephen Curry/Eric Maynor/Jeff Teague/Ty Lawson: meh. decent PGs, but how are they that much better than the dragon?
Johnny Flynn: He could be better than dragic.
keep in mind... Dragic was horrible under Porter, we all know that. Zero playing time, zero confidence. under gentry, he averaged 8pts, 3 asts per game, is something like 15 minutes per. as a rookie, those are fantastic numbers, unccanny, if you will.
this year... he has the 15th best PER among point guards, with great FG%, and Steve nash-like assist-to-turnover ratio. that and his confidence is going to continue to grow as long as he plays like this, and with gntry coaching him, his confidence rarely goes down. not to mention he has one of the best point guards in the game AND dan majerle teaching him- and he already has the defense. i dont understand why people are so closed minded about dragic's future.

I don't think we can assess how good all the rookies will end up. I just wanted to mention that about 12 point guards were projected much higher than Dragic was the year before in the draft. I'm not sure how many pgs went before him in the 2008 draft (off the top of my head Rose, Chalmers, Augustin, Westbrook, Bayless) so that is at least another 5.
Then of course next year there will be a bunch of big names coming in as well. I was just thinking that sometimes it seems like some fans only look at our team and players and don't compare or look at all the other teams and their future pgs.
Having said all that, I LOVE what Dragic did last night, and if continues performances like that, I will happily eat crow.
