Buddy, I played the league juggernaut in week one and didn't set my roster two or three of the days (which is my fault). That's pretty much equivalent to calling the Cavs a crappy after they lost the opener against the C's. Your opponent = Joe Johnson, OJ Mayo, Andris Biedrins. My opponent had five guys that he probably wouldn't trade individually for all three of your opponent's best players.

What's worse, having a crappy team or having a good team and being too vapid to set your lineup in time? 8-)

Juggernaut vs. vapid; which is the cooler word? I think that's what this will come down to.

I am sure he meant to set his line up so the scores should be changed to reflect that.

Unfortunately "education takes up more of your time, the further you go into it" and I had a couple midterms last week. What's worse, doing a crap job during the first week of the season or doing a crap job the entire history of your franchise?

I had two midterms last week too. But I go to community college so I got As without the need to study. Unfortunately, that's means I will be doing a crap job the entire history of my franchise.

See what I did there

Check out Community with Joel McHale on Thursday nights, NBC I believe.

And I work for a living so there.

And for what it is worth the first week of the season is pretty meaningless, teams don't know their offense yet, players are hurt, it's a short week (although this one was less short than others) and schedules are very unbalanced.

I didn't mean to trade the likes of Kobe, Granger, Arenas, and Lebron away for crap that wouldn't pan out (I thought they would), so my scores should also be changed to reflect that. I believe a few league titles should be added to my trophy case now. Thank you.

I disagree. I think the rule has always been that you can't drop the player until AFTER he's missed his 5th game.

wow .. this seems to have dragged on too long.

This was TheMan's suggestion and seems fair, so can we just add Griffin & Dunleavy back to their respective rosters and make the managers wait for an extra 5 games before dropping them back to the IL ?

And then just move on ?

Holy cow, Brandon Roy is a SF! That completely takes away any need to make a move this season. I had to sit a couple of guards last week despite open starting spots because of my excess of guards.

'tis a good day for the juggernaut.

I don't think sufficiently punishes him. He sits Griffin five more days what does that mean? Maybe he loses an extra category or two. But we know he has zero chance at the playoffs and is just looking for another #1 overall pick.

Hit him where it hurts and take away ping pong balls.

Or better yet just give me Griffin.

Sitting Griffin 5 more games negates the stats he got from the player he picked up by dropping Griffin early. That's what this is all about right?

Keeping the player an extra 5 games (making it ten total missed games) seems fair to me. I can't believe you're against that punishment. You were the one to bring it up!

I thought it up spur of the moment before I remember YS is all about the ping pong balls. He could sit ever player the remainder of the year and do no worse than if he actively managed his team.

What do I get out of this?
