I do not think a dominate Al is the key. Phx does not play def. Hopefully moving Gomes back to the SF will help his jumper. A balanced attack and consistent defense is all we need.

Once again this isn't a wolves quot but I still thought it was damn funny. This quote is from the Jazz board after Dirks huge 4th quarter last night.

That was fun. I hope we keep Sloan around forever. He's a legend. My favorite part was watching Dirk repeatedly dip his balls in Memo's mouth while Sloan just watched and did nothing. Go JAZZ!!

I don't think anything could have made the bye week better than the Packers losing to the Bucs.

1. The Bears losing to Arizona
2. New Orleans down against Carolina early.

From Jazz site following loss to Sacramento:

stevebozell wrote:Deron has ALWAYS been lit up by average players...its just some in here refuse to see it for whatever reason.

Its ben clear for some time now, we should have taken Paul. Deron cares more abotu fitting into the league and being an all-star than he does about winning, unfortunately.

Could anyonej ever see Deron needing to be restrained from going into the other teams locker room after anyone?? Hell no....

Obviously he is not the biggest problem on this team, but he isnt helping matters, and nobody in here dares call him out.

Lava Rock Kid wrote:I missed the game, but did ANOTHER Point guard, rookie no doubt light up mr WIlliams? When does williams get bashed for his no defense play. Why was this rookie point guard able to go anywhere he wants on the offensive end. Why is williams not shutting those lanes down.

Racer X wrote:Seriously, this Jazz team has looked worse than any Jazz team I have EVER watched. Even the season before we got Deron the team was more enjoyable to watch.

Seriously, Paul Millsap . . . I know you got all that money and everything, but seriously . . . you have been really really really bad this year. You are lucky Boozer is equally as bad and takes 5x the heat you do. You should be thanking your lucky stars that he came back because you would be getting slammed right now.

BTW, Deron HAS HAS HAS HAS to become a better leader. He really has not improved his ability to take over games in the last few years. Our offense falls apart when we start getting in trouble and that should never happen with an All-NBA caliber PG. I think Deron deserves a fair share of the blame for this horrendous start.

Maybe editing the thread title will help. I'm more interested in Wolves related quotes. No offense, but I could care less about what Utah fans thought after losing to the Kings.

I'm pretty sure this thread may get lost if we only win one game every 2 weeks. The quotes are never as good or funny unless we actually beat the team we are playing.

"Thank you for bringing that up," Wolves coach Kurt Rambis said when told his team had tied franchise records for points allowed and margin of defeat. "That's excellent that you spent the time during the ballgame to assess that."

floppymoose wrote:That Wolves squad was the worst nba team I've seen in a long time. The Wolves with Love down might have been worse than the '04/'05 Hornets squad when Baron was out hurt. And their scrubs were ungodly bad. Pecherov (or whatever his name was) was worse than POB, by a wide margin. Nathan Jawai and Ryan Hollins are both worse than Mikki Moore. It was scrubtastic.
