Drop Ronnie Brewer for Quentin Richardson?

Post#1 » by Crackfool » Sun Nov 8, 2009 8:33 am

12-man H2H, 9 cat league

My roster:
Steve Nash
Eric Gordon
Gerald Wallace
LaMarcus Aldridge
Al Jefferson
Andrew Bogut
Monta Ellis
Trevor Ariza
Roy Hibbert
Jason Thompson
Mario Chalmers
Andray Blatche
Ronnie Brewer

So far, my team is at the top of the league in steals, and in the top tier in threes. I originally drafted Brewer for steals and help with FG%, but he hasn't gotten many steals lately. I noticed Quentin Richardson is getting all the SF minutes in Miami so I was wondering if dropping Brewer is worth upgrading in threes. My main concern is the Brewer shoots much better from the field (54%), and my team is struggling in that category. However, Richardson shoots decently well (45%), and at 9 attempts a game, the impact is minimal. Plus, I would be able to erase Brewer's poor FT shooting from my roster (69% at 5 attempts a game).

I was also wondering if Varejao or Dampier are worthy pickups. I'm considering dropping Blatche since he has cooled down considerably.

Get Varejao and ditch Brewer.

Try and trade Blatche ASAP.
