It's crossing the wires now--torn ACL and PCL, out for the season. Jesse Chatman is now the starting RB, backed up by Lorenzo Booker, as the Dolphins head overseas to their home game against the Giants and their attacking defense.

Same here
My team is freaking cursed.
Andre Johnson-Hurt
Ronnie Brown-Done for year
Stephen Jackson-Hurt
Matt Hasselbeck-Got hurt yesterday
I am still in the playoff hunt for my league but I had to make a desperate trade:
I get:
Bernard Berrian
Hines Ward
Shawn Alexander
He gets:
Braylon Edwards
I drop:
Santana Moss
Dallas Defense
What a crappy trade but I need to do something. Ronnie Brown and Stephen Jackson my two running backs are hurt.

Tough break for Ronnie and the Fins. He was finally playing like everyone thought he would when the Fins took him 2nd.
Everyone is talking about the Patriots going 16-0 and I think it's more than realistic the way they are playing but I don't think the Dolphins going winless is that big of a stretch.

Dolphins Remaining Schedule:
VS New York Giants (In London)
BYE
VS Buffalo Bills
At Philadelphia Eagles
At Pittsburgh Steelers
VS New York Jets
At Buffalo Bills
VS Baltimore Ravens
At New England Patriots
VS Cincinnati Bengals
I could see the Dolphins getting at least 2 wins

I don't think it's a stretch at all. Their offense consists of Cleo Lemon (or John Beck) handing off to Jesse Chatman, throwing to Marty Booker and I guess Ted Ginn and David Martin. On the other side of the ball they have an aging unit with the league's worst rushing defense and the league's worst passing defense (overall they give up a league-average 220 passing yards per game but that's because they rarely force anyone to pass -- their opponents' 8.86 yards per attempt is 32nd out of 32 NFL teams).
How is that group going to beat a team that plays at a higher level than the Canadian league? I guess if Ginn pulls a Devin Hester he can change some games. But any game they win would be considered a big upset. And it would be hugely demoralizing for the team they beat.
Strange to think that the Dolphins might simultaneously hold NFL records for success (1972) and for futility (2007).

this is why i am not a fan of fantasy sports. the man just got seriously hurt and will be facing an extremely long road back to recovery. and people's first reactions are 'damn, my fantasy team is screwed now'.
