A few observations . . .
Great game by Josh. 8-10 from the floor and dominating defensively.
I really appreciate having Joe Smith on the bench. He doesn't play many minutes but when needed he's competent and score a basket or 2 or snag a rebound. Far better option than we've had for the last several years.
Say what you will about Bibby, he can stroke some shots at crunch time.
Got to love 90% from the line especially during whistle-fest.
Teague only went 1-9, but got to the hole well. Just needs to work on finishing or dishing off when the stopped by a big.
I don't give any credit to Joe Johnson's calling the team out because what he said to me wasn't calling the team out. It was throwing his teammates under the bus when he was as much responsible for the letdown in Charlotte as anyone else.

We should be well rested come Wednesday in New York. I hope we bring the effort and don't overlook them thinking about Boston on Friday.
Going to donkey punch a leprechaun!

I hate this team. Why cant we play like this more often? When SMoove palys like this it hurts my feelings. Joe can be an offense killer at times. He will take the ball and hold it for 17 seconds and then heave it up. Hes great but we could be so much better if he knew the concept of team bsaketball. He doesnt need 19 shots when Marvin and Josh are playing so well. I love how he called the team out when he is really the core of the problem. ^^^Very impressive free throw game. Looks like we dont have to be in the bottom half of the league in that category anymore. But seriously guys why does this team play like this a couple times a month? Anyone know? Bc with this kind of efffort on both sides we can beat anyteam in the league. Frustrating night
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

After the game Josh Smith was asked about Joe's comments after the charlotte game, and smith hadn't even heard the comments. All this talk about Joe calling the team out seems to be totally exaggerated, blown out by by the media and hawks fans. Of course Smith could be lying, but he doesn't strike me as the most intelligent guy who would be able to lie in front of camera convincingly.

I never found what Joe said on the the AJC, so it was only on rotoworld.com and never had a true source like most things on the site. I have no problem with Joe speaking his mind about his fellow teammates until it's obvious that it's becoming an issue. However, I think it's very understandable why some of the Hawk fans on this site reacted the way they did, but maybe it has more to do with the media (rotoworld) exaggerating. Not sure!

If its true its upsetting bc he didnt go to his teamates first. Hopefully its not true, but it sure doesnt sound like hes coming to his teamates

G. Karl along with M. Brown and you can throw D'Antoni in the mix as well, are the biggest example of how overrating coaching is in the league. They're the anti- Phil Jackson, it's like their teams have never practiced together, a disaster. I was glad with the effort shown by our guys. Game after game I'm thinking the Hawks management will have serious doubts about offering JJ the same deal he was offered this past summer. Crawford makes him look sluggish and tentative, yeah, I'm talking about J. Crawford.
GO HAWKS.

George Karl teams look like they never practice together? Karl is pretty stubborn(Starting Anthony Carter all these years) and most of his players end up hating them but he's actually a damn good coach and has been for quite some time. Lumping him in the category of a Mike Brown(whose an even worse offensive coach than Woodson) is ridiculous.

If this is frustrating, what word would you describe us by back earlier in this decade?? We win by 25 and you describe the night as frustrating, take an edge off and enjoy the game. Every team has their clunkers here and there. Hell, Orlando got beat by OKC like they were the Nets are somebody.
