Orlando / OKC has an O/U of 193.

Orlando might suit up 8, as Lewis, Carter, Anderson, and Foyle are confirmed OUT, and Barnes has the flu and might be quite lmited. Add to this that OKC is a defensive team that can't score, the under looks VERY GOOD.

Does anyone know how Betting agencies calculate the under/over for total points in a game? I was planning on trying to figure it out myself but I don't really want to re-invent the wheel if it's already available info.

Taking the overs, on a parlay, for the Suns/Sixers (212) and Jazz/Knicks (210).

This threads nice.

I'm interested. My friend does a lot of betting on hockey, but I am looking at getting into it on basketball and football.

Thanks. Is there a good site to use? Right now I'm looking at bodog, don't know if that is the best.

P.S. if talking web sites is against the TOS, my bad. But I guess it just gives the new mods some work! ;)

Be sure to have the Casino link bookmarked on a laptop if you go to Vegas. Very useful to get the best lines. I live in both Atlanta and Vegas. Slowly trying to make it to Vegas full-time. Some advice: Beware the amount you bet in Vegas and spread it around among different Casinos. I had to fill out two U2's and I could have easily got out of that if I had spread my money around among different casinos. On the other hand my comps have added up and have become very useful.

In real life the Hilton and Palms offer the best lines from my experience. Any casino affiliated with MGM won't comp you. However, the Bellagio, which is affiliated with MGM offers free drinks, and an endless list. The Hilton also offers free drinks but there are limited options. Vegas has changed over the years and at most casinos you must have a drink ticket.

WNBA can be cash! The Palms will allow you to place 1k wagers, so will the Hilton depending on your status with them. Most casinos in Vegas have a $350 limit. I just wanted to note that for anyone that goes there to bet on the WNBA.

One of the key player cards to sign up for is Harrah's (Caesars Palace, etc) because even with limited use you'll receive free room offers.

Formula for success: Wait until the Raptors play a team on the road who just recently lost an all star caliber player or two and bet ON THAT TEAM to cover the spread. Your wallet will thank you.

I just read Deron Williams is going to play tonight.

Not looking good for me with 18 seconds left. Denver has missed that spark all night.
