The Clippers were without Gordon and the Hornets haven't really looked impressive this year overall besides one or two games. I think tommorows game is all about Frye though, Okafor will have trouble guarding him so if Frye can make his 3 pointers the Suns will be in good shape.

"Paul came down awkwardly on Butler's foot 1:46 before halftime, two steps after making a layup. The U.S. Olympian had carved up Los Angeles' defense to that point with 7-of-11 shooting and speedy playmaking that left Baron Davis struggling to keep up.

Paul immediately went to the Hornets' locker room, but returned to start the second half with a ginger stride that disappeared once he started playing.

"The first couple of possessions, I felt it," Paul said. "That went away. We'll see how it feels in the morning."..."

--------- ---------

Saw him sprain it tonight on NBA Fastbreak. Looked ugly at first but he returned to play a few minutes in the 2nd half. I remember last year when Nash sprained his ankle, returned later in the game, looked fine and then missed 3 or 4 games. We'll see... I'd like to beat them at full strength but you never know.

Hornets blow us out the building, Suns lose by 52 points, Steve Nash goes for 3-16 shooting with 2 assists and 9 turnovers.

Amare Stoudemire scores 3 points on his only 3 pointer of the night, responsds by pulling down 29 rebounds.

Chris Paul goes for 102 points and 1 assist.

Hornets win 104-101

BOOK IT!!!

They'll probably have Okafor guard Amare and have David West on Frye. West's a full 2 inches shorter. Frye has torched at home. Neither of those match-ups look all that favorable for NO. Stick Lou on West on D and let CP3 try to carry his team like he tries to do every single night and I think we're good to go.

And yeah, they've looked terrible on both ends of the floor. Very similar to the Jazz's season so far

The Hornets have historically given us trouble during the CP3 era. I was at that game several years ago when they beat us in double over time.

The Suns will really need to come out focused to win this one. We need to start playing like we have been in the 4th quarter but for the entire game.

My prediction: Suns 114 Hornets 109. Paul torches us for 29 points and 8 assists.

Hornets will forfeit at halftime and we can get an early start on our trip to Los Angeles later that night

Hornets are going to be a very tough team...they've got Paul is playing at an incredible level, and they've got some deadly shooters. Let's hope we don't lay an egg on national TV.

Time for the Suns to put a beat down on the Hornets, and prove to them who the boss is.

Suns, 8-1? I hope so!!!!!!!
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

This sounds absurdly similar to your prediction from last game.

please add-
-Jared Dudley makes a miracle 5 point play (3 pointer, fouled, the fouler gets a technical, and he converts both free throws), screams, has an anurism, heals himself, and then gets 6 blocks
-J-rich scores 6 points, all off of front flip and/or 360 alley-oop dunks from Gentry on the sidelines
-Chris Paul and Steve Nash almost come to blows but settle it over a game of Chess. Nash in 16 moves

Book it

Though honestly i think Hornets/Lakers are going to be our 2nd and 3rd losses though i hope im wrong. Hornets finally got their ish together not playing Brown or Peterson and using Thorton and Collison (honestly im a Hor- *cough* Paul fan after a Suns fan) and Paul has been the best player in the league so far.

That said its a home game finally which gives us a chance

lets run these **** out of the building!

Isn't anyone else disturbed by that picture of Frye in the game thread post?

As for the game, it will be another tough one to win, but I am starting to believe they can beat anyone.

we played horribly against new orleans last year... but you get a sense of optimism with this team and this situation. Back at home after a day of rest after a 4-1 road trip, chemistry is high and so is confidence and you just stole a game on the road and know you have to close out the hornets cause the lakers are waiting for you. I am expecting a win to be honest.

Anytime we face Chris Paul I am worried cus no one matches up well with him and he has the defensive ability to limit Nash. If Nash holds his own we win the game and Nash shows the haters he's back!
