I can;'t figure why some of you guys don't like BBarry. His brother, now *he's* a dick but this one is a good guy. Good analyst, funny, non-douche

You realize that Duds and Frye will split the MIP vote?

I think people are still mad at him for giving us the middle finger and going back to the devil.

Actually Jon isn't that bad. He was the one who kept saying the Suns were getting bad call after bad call during the Spurs series. But for some reason, he stopped saying anything about the refs. I wonder why..cough...Stern...cough.

OK - it's midnight here and I got be up early. Does this feel better than just about any point last year? Why, yes, yes it does. Thank you for asking.

I haven't felt like this about our team since .... three years ago. It's just such a joy to see these guys working like this

I will have to agree. The only bad part is I haven't worn any of my Suns stuff, so now I can't for awhile. :(

This has been a GREAT road trip. Every game minus the Orlando blunder was well worth the price of admission. One of the most entertaining string of games in a long time. Every game was worth watching twice!

My god Dudley tore it up tonight.

Nash is unbelievable.

JRICH WTF

50% from 3 for the TEAM?!

On that note, is there a good online replay site ?
(that can be endorsed w/o a secret knock?)

My normal 'feeds' have , as mentioned by many, been very inconsistent. So much so, I have become content to get the KTAR audio feed from NBA.com. Reflectively, that is so much more than what I had 3-4 yrs ago.

I caution you JohnnyV.... our good start is surprising... We have a new look and modified philosophy that we(fans) AND the rest of the league knew little about. We will not be taken for granted by other teams, and I am sure, their chalkboards are dusting up in preparation. Counter measures will be devised to combat our successful methods, now that they have been seen.

Your 'feel good warm fuzzies' are natural and deserved... but , as any experienced Suns fan will tell.... it is dangerous to put yer nutz on the table. However, I will admit, these guys seem like a bunch of highschoolers cutting it up. I personally think it falls squarely on Nash... he is the consummate ambassador and just reeks with personal likability. And now that THE BIG PIEHOLE is gone, the guys can just have fun w/o a 'me me me' egomaniac.

"The Big Piehole" - brilliant

Yes, nuts on the windowsill ... a dangerous place to put them. i know we'll come down to earth again but I'm quite sure this is a solid team, even if they are overachieving somewhat at present.
The important thing is that defense continues to improve - some bad lapses still.
On the other thand two fast breaks last night deserve mention. One, with JRich finishing, had exactly one dribble. tThe second had ... none. That was very familiar from a few years back

From Basketbawful:

The Philadelphia 76ers: The Sixers got what seemed like a pretty favorable matchup last night: the Suns on the second game of back-to-backs at the tail end of a five-game Eastern Conference road trip. Phill even built what looked like a reasonably comfortable 12-point halftime after the Suns came out flat for the first two quarters. Enter Steve Nash, who registered the first 20-20 in points and assists (21 points, 20 assists) since January 2, 2006...when he did it against the Knicks in New York with 28 points and 22 assists. But of course, Mike D'Antoni -- who's currently coaching the Knicks -- made Nash. Nash was nothing before D'Antoni coached him. Why, Chris Duhon put up Nash-like numbers last season. Okay, was my sarcasm obvious? I hope so.

Anyway, Phoenix outscored the Sixers 65-49 in the second half to take a 119-115 victory. So much for fatigue, huh? Nash, of course, ran the rally, scoring 9 of his points in the third quarter and then dishing two critical assists to Jason Richardson (who converted a three-point play and dropped in a layup) to turn a 106-106 tie to a 113-108 lead with about a minute and a half left to go. That was pretty much the game.

Said Andre Iguodala: "We should have had it. We were up and couldn't hold it."

Bawful note: Jared Dudley helped burn Philly with 18 points on 6-for-7 shooting (4-for-5 from downtown). Not to keep blowing Nash or anything, but Jared Dudely scored 18 critical points. But I suppose Mike D'Antoni is responsible for that, too.

Gotta love Bawful's comments. People say D'Antoni made Nash but the same thing could be said about Nash making D'Antoni. I mean, check NY, D'Antoni couldn't make anything that remotely looks like Phoenix SSOL, not without a PG of Nash's caliber.
