I call it right now. Only Pierce makes the All-Star game for us. Or at least that's how it should be so far. If you take out the Phoenix game by Garnett, the only guy on our team playing All-Star ball is Paul. And he has been doing it with unbelievable efficiency. but what the hell, let's get the voting. ;)

I kinda hope hes not even playing at the time of the all star game just to see him get voted in without actively being part of a team, like what some poeple tried to do with marbury last season

Bizzarre things happen in ASG voting.....Wally world for one.....and Yi almost getting voted in a few years ago....people are just stupid enuff to try and get AI in

Great idea getting people to vote for ASG starters.....but is a popularity contest...not a skills contest....I'd luv to see the teams the east and west coaches would choose...would be dramaticaly different I think

east
PG, not easy to say, arenas, jameer, rondo, harris, rose lot of choices no clear favourite, hope rondo gets in
SG wade
SF lebron
PF garnett (maybe bosh) he didn't play last year
C howard (maybe shaq could upset)

I hope perk gets the back up center position, there's shaq in his way though but last year he got the 2nd most votes for centers in east i think. bosh is listed as a forward so perk might get in. i think pierce will get in as well, hopefully those who likes sheed will vote for perk instead. brook lopez is good too.

west
PG nash, playing like an allstar and mvp
SG bryant
SF kevin durant, i hate carmelo
PF griffin
C big al
nowitzki most likely will be voted by fans, esp since dallas is hosting but he could come off the bench, billups in, unfort... paula will be in as well, studamire in. hopefully oden in as well.

Hate him all you want, there is no way in friggin hell Durant starts over Melo in the ASG. I doubt Nash makes it over Paul and Big Al doesn't make it over Stoudemire either. And Griffin?Wow..you didn't make an All Star team, you made YOUR All Star team.

Your starting 5 is about right. I don't think Rondo makes the team ahead of Ray though. And if Doc happens to be the Coach I'm sure he will manage to find a spot for Ray. I would also put Devin Harris or Derrick Rose ahead o Rondo.

Perk doesn't have a chance unless Howard or Shaq is out with injury.

Wade/Carter/James/KG/Howard

Rondo/Joe Johnson / PP / Bosh / Shaq

Granger / Rose

Head coaches can't vote for their own players. To think Rondo gets in via the fans' votes is unrealistic. However, the head coaches tend to recognize the efforts of players better than fans, and there sometimes is a new player who makes the roster. This year it could be either Rondo or J. Smith. I say they both make it.

If three point guards make it... I think they'll be Arenas, Rondo and D. Harris. Rose has plenty of years ahead of him to make it if he fails this season. Personally, I doubt either Nelson or M. Williams make it. If Calderon can get passed over, then they could too.

But yeah, no way Rondo gets passed over this season. Especially, if Boston still holds the best record in the standings by then. And, as I'd said before, Ray will be the odd man out this season. No way four players from Boston make it, and Ray made it the past two seasons as an injury replacement. That tells you something... If Rondo's statistics remain steady... There's no denying him...

COME ON GUYS!!!! I write in SCALABRINE every time I vote. DO THE SAME. GET SCAL IN THE AS GAME!!!!!!

i think the guy who got robbed the most by not even being on the ballot is Chris Kaman. He's not even on the ballot and he's been a top 10 player to start the season.

Kaman is beasting. I doubt it happens unless he is injured.... but I really want to see Shaq off the team this year. I much rather see a young big take his place. Horford,Noah, and Lee are all having good starts to the season. Wouldnt mind seeing anyone of those guys over Shaq. More then anything I want to see a competitive game. I cant remember the outcome of last years game but I remember it being a huge bore.

I'd rather have our whole team stay home. I truly despise any all star game. They are a joke. Get the rest and get the ring.
