Drop Dalembert for him. Similar players, but Dampier proving a lot better this year.

I'd stay patient with Young, but wouldn't lose any sleep over dropping Dalembert for Dampier.

Another long-shot option is to try to pull off a 2-for-1 trade to upgrade a position and open up a roster spot so that you can pick up Dampier.

Otherwise drop Dalembert for Dampier.

I honestly think it is the wrong time to pick up Damp. He has been getting major minutes with Gooden out, but Gooden is returning. Also is this little know tidbit:

One of my Fantasy Sources wrote:Erick Dampier's incredible play of late has highlighted an interesting wrinkle -- if he plays 2,100 minutes (in 70 games) this season the final year of his contract, worth more than $13 million, will become guaranteed.

Basically he needs to average 30 minutes "in the 70 regular season games in the 2009-2010 season in which he plays his most minutes." The Mavericks simply won't allow him to make $13 million next year, so this is a situation worth keeping an eye on.

Bad time to be a buyer, great time to be a Dampier seller! :D
I'd still drop Sammy (as i did a week ago as Speights is OWNING and soon will take over the starting spot), But i'd pick up Speights over Damp. :D

Interesting read there. I read an article a little while back that he is on the trade block as well, probably because of that contract. The league in which I own him is pretty shallow so if he does start losing minutes I'll find a pretty good replacment.
