OT - cleveland team discussion

Post#1 » by BillTheGOAT » Fri Nov 6, 2009 10:57 pm

just wondering would the cavs be better with leon powe in their lineup instead of varejao ? this lineup would be a threat to us, williams, west, james, powe, ilgauskas.

could they also trade o'neal for camby + others ? or get steven jackson ? they could still be a big threat with some changes, they got wrong players for their team like parker and moon, complete failures.

Cleveland sucks this year. Last year was a great year for some of their players, like Maurice Williams..dude made it to the All Star game and shot like he was Ray Allen all season long. Varejao also had a great year, but now their back to normal..LeBron doesn't look like he cares out there..and nothing they did worked out..Moon and Parker SUCK, and the Shaq trade is an super fail..combine that to having Delonte West with his head in another universe, and you get what you see...I agree they are a couple pieces from being really good though. I'd go for Daniels and S-Jax..bring Shaq off the bench and start Zydrunas..

I watched the Cavs - Bulls game.....and thought Shaq looked about 70 years old and 400lbs.......he was a black hole and the bulls didn't appear to feel anyneed to double him....he had one move....one dribble rolling left from the deep post and trying a flat hook shot......he didnt make many.....4 maybe???/

Anyways.....they rolled the dice and I think it will fail....Z is a better C for them....he spreads it and opens it up for Lebron.....Shaq makes it very hard for lebron to drive.....when he did againts the Bulls.....it was often if he bought the ball up court and Shaq hadn't made it across half court yet....

I bet Shaq still makes the all-star game....on about 12pts and 8 rebounds....very sucky

Oh....and i hate the Cav's.....all the way from Gerald Wilkens, Brad Dougherty and Mark Price.....to Lebum, Shack and especially V. Larry Nance was the man though.....
BANG!................. Marjong!

Suck is a bit strong for Parker though. I think he makes for a fairly mediocre back-up shooting guard. 8-)

I was surprised to see so many people propping these two up on a pedestal in the offseason.

For your team and my team's sake, let's all hope Cleveland never gets a good trade going.

I'm hoping, but it appears the writing is already on the wall. It's not even 2 weeks into the season and that roster just doesn't look like it can hold up to either team as currently constructed. If things start turning south, Danny Ferry is going to be under huge pressure to give Lebron a legit opportunity at a title this year, and then there's the question that always needs to be asked.....what does David Stern and the league stand to gain by way of $$$ by catering to one of their biggest cash cows? If anything, I can see it happening.

This team is a disaster...just more proof last season was an aberration...sure, they're good, but not 66-16 good...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I get what you mean. I can almost see a Pau Gasol like highway robbery exchange occurring just to get Stern's golden boy back on his feet. In that case, I'd rather that the Cavaliers put together a few wins and get exposed in the Playoffs instead.

This absolutely will happen if the Cavs go down the dumper too far...
