Thanks Bass, I do what I can. Tonight I was just in the zone, things were coming to me really naturally. I forced some things in the hammer thread, but I'm not sure it would've gotten done otherwise, so it is what it is. Both teams played hard.

They said Raja has a strained calf, something that bugged him last season. Could be convenient, but I doubt it. Jackson doesn't want to come here (has said so via his agent when there were rumors), say's he just wants to win (which mean's he'd get really upset after being here for a few days) and his contract represents another long investment.

At one point I was all for getting him and Boozer via whatever means. Now I just think any stopgap trade exacerbates the situation.

Using a NASCAR analogy: at some point when your racecar gets out of shape a quality driver can regain control and continue on, drawing admiration for a great save. But sometimes no driver can pull a wayward car out of a spin, resulting in a big crash. All the driver can do then, according to Richard Petty, "..is hang on and hope".

This car is at that moment of spinning beyond anyone's capacity to bring it back. Short of a miraculous save, we will soon be careening around into the wall, other cars, upside down. Time to let it wreck and build a new car.
