Hate him all you want, there is no way in friggin hell Durant starts over Melo in the ASG. I doubt Nash makes it over Paul and Big Al doesn't make it over Stoudemire either. And Griffin?Wow..you didn't make an All Star team, you made YOUR All Star team.

that's right I made MY All Star team. That's why there's voting, or you want people to just vote for the usual guys ?

east: I'm voting 68 times for our starters; but here is my prediction for the east.
wade, pierce, bron, bosh, howard as starters carter, rondo, kg, shaq, iggy, johnson, lewis .

West who cares I usually vote for stats, deron williams i'd like for him to get one over paul, nash, parker, billups. be tough though.
We know melo and duncan and kobe are starters on it.
They have stoudamire on it as center last year he was starter for forward (weird)
mehmet okur maybe?
dirk for sure.
the rest not sure.

I don't see the C's getting 3 reserves again. I think they are going to spread out the love. There are some pretty good players in the eastern conference that the might want to give a spot too. People mention Rose and Harris. Sure you thinking PG - but what about guards..

You really have to think about Ben Gordon 23.8 ppg on 49% shooting. Hell he has a stronger case the Paul Pierce.

Bizzarre things happen in ASG voting.....Wally world for one.....and Yi almost getting voted in a few years ago....people are just stupid enuff to try and get AI in

Great idea getting people to vote for ASG starters.....but is a popularity contest...not a skills contest....I'd luv to see the teams the east and west coaches would choose...would be dramaticaly different I think

They should really get rid of internet voting. Yi nearly getting in was stupid. Live voting doesn't guarantee success (Grant Hill when he was injured all season) but it would be better.

^^^ Popularity isn't as bad as everyone thinks IMHO. Its just ego talking here when people harsh on it. Are the fans here really so much more knowledgable then the average voters? Most people voting on all-stars are pretty big fans. Its not something my mom is going to do. Obvioulsy the chinese thing is an issue. Anyway you don't need to be some stat guru or head coach to pick the best basketball players. You can learn alot just by watching. :P

In fact some people feel that the collective wisdom of many is often much higher then a that of a few "experts." They have written books about it.

I'm with canman, I don't give two hot ***** about the ASG and we'd win the biggest without anybody going and a nice midseason recharge of the batteries.

Buuuuut, I think KG gets voted in. If not, I don't think he gets in based on his #'s being what they are. I think Paul gets picked as a reserve. Rondo could go either way on being a reserve, he's still got to make his case. Ray ain't goin this year.

Perk deserves consideration for a BU C spot, but he won't get in either.
