Maybe a 3 way trade with Minnesota getting expiring(s), another team getting BBD and change, and Boston getting Gomes? Gomes and Shelden is an upgrade over BBD and Shelden being on the bench, not so much because I think Gomes is individually that much better than BBD but his ability to effectively be a 3 or a 4 is a nice fit.
edit: didn't read your post zin5, guess I just paraphrased it.
Gomes?

Re: Gomes?
Eh.. I don't really want to move Baby out just yet. Yeah it probably is worth it if we eventually don't want to pay Baby what he will get elsewhere but I'd rather not lose a big as we were short last year.
As far as concerns for minutes and money... I say who cares.
1. Some one will go down.
2. With the flexibility of our roster Gomes could essentially take anyone's minutes.
I think Gomes is a winner plain and simple. Hes got the drive and the personality to keep improving.

isn't a terrible core to go forward with. Obviously we'd still have the aging vets or what ever we coudl get for them and hopefully we'd have another star, but those are good guys.

Gome has a pretty solid contract. It could be nice to lock him if Minn just ask expiring contract. That could give us very solid depth and rest the big 3 more.

I'd love to see Gomes in green. He and Hudson would be my binkies. I just hope Rambis doesn't have a say in the matter.
